Tia Carrere has filed for divorce from her husband of 7 years, TMZ has learned.
According to court docs, which Tia filed today -- in person -- at L.A. County Superior Court, Tia has cited irreconcilable differences with her husband, photo journalist Simon Wakelin.
The couple has a 4-year-old daughter together.
According to the docs, the 43-year-old "Wayne's World" star is asking for sole physical custody of the child.
Tia has experience with the divorce process -- she split from her first husband, Elie Samaha back in 2000.

Ya know TMZ..you guys are such A-holes...WHY do you post these still pics of people with such hideous looks on their faces all the time?...You do it on purpose and it's just SO RUDE! How would you jack-a**es like it if someone took a pic of you with the most unflattering expression on your face and posted it for millions to see? She is actually a very attractive woman for her age and that pic is HORRIBLE! SHAME ON YOU! You do it to all the celebs on this site and I think it's dispicable!
