TMZ has learned one of Bruce Beresford-Redman's first moves now that he is back in Los Angeles is to regain custody of his children.
The body of Bruce's wife, Monica Beresford-Redman, was discovered on April 8 in a sewer at the Moon Palace Resort in Cancun. TMZ broke the story that Beresford-Redman is back in L.A. Now his lawyer, Richard Hirsch, says that since his client has not been accused of a crime, he has a legal right to custody of his children.
Hirsch adds, "That is probably what is going to happen next."
Beresford-Redman's parents currently have temporary guardianship of his two children.
Hirsch tells TMZ Beresford-Redman has already retained a family law attorney to assist him.

I would call Mexico allowing this man to come home to the USA, deeply troubling! He has money and can flee to anywhere in the world. Further, it's pretty clear he killed his wife. To allow this kind of father custody of his kids is just WRONG.
Knowing Mexico, somebody has been rewarded with some cold hard cash to get him released.
Poor kids have to deal with a murderer for a Dad just like OJ's kids. I hope he spends the rest of his days in prison and his wifes family raises those children. Why should he be rewarded for killing his wife? Sick Bastard

What did you expect from Mexican "justice." I don't know why he came back to LA, it's the same thing as being in Mexico.

Let's not lose sight of the fact that he has not been charged with any crime, so he certainly is not guilty, at this time.
However, as long as there is a strong suspicion, I would guess his children would be safer with another family member. I think her sister would be a better choice than his parents, as they might facilitate a run by the husband.
You can only have one passport, but you can have a passport card as well. He could surrender his card to the authorities, then use the passport to travel to any other country. Just sayin'.
If he murdered his wife I hope he’s made to pay, but I highly doubt it.
A woman has a better chance of survival if she lived in the Sudan as opposed to being married to or dating a White Man. And they kill their wives and girlfriends over almost anything. Every day in the newspapers and on t.v., some white guy has killed his wife or girlfriend. EVERY DAY.
