(Page 1 of 1)I remember on the show he drove a really cool black 1971 Plymouth barracuda convertible that had a mobile car phone. He would always be calling his secretary "Peggy" on it.
My dad passed in 1969, and I'm pretty sure that Mannix and Run For Your Life with Ben Gazarra were his favorite shows. Oh yeah, and the Dean Martin Variety Show.
I RECALL WATCHING RE-RUNS AS A KID. TOTALLY BORING AS FVCK. THE BEST HAIR IN THE BUSINESS AT THE TIME.
Hey #5, one of these days some young punk is gonna 'punk' one of your favorite shows. Wipe your nose 'punk'!
The show, Mannix, made me much of what I am today --- it taught me to give people the benefit of the doubt because even though all evidence might indicate a certain person is guilty of something there might be an explanation or a totally unexpected situation or twist that undermines the obvious, but wrong, conclusion. It has made me an unjudgemental person who will not condemn unless it is clear 100%.
