I think she is beautiful, but why is it girls these days don't have a waist? Is it because they are too skinny? Women are supposed to be shaped like hourglasses.

Only a very small minority of women have an hourglass shape (about 10%). Most women are pears, rectangles, or triangles like Ashley is.

Just because you are used to seeing hourglasses in the media doesn't mean that most women look like that.

And it has nothing to do with weight. It has to do with how bones develop. Ashley could gain 100 pounds and she still wouldn't have hips or a waist. Kim Kardashian could lose 40 pounds and she would still have hips and a waist.

The above being said, I don't get the appeal of this woman. She looks like a rodent, and has a terrible body. No I am not jealous. I am envious of lots of female celebrities, but she is not one of them. The only thing that makes her somewhat appealing is 3 layers of makeup and professional hair styling.

The percent may vary, of course, as you look at women of different ages, different geographical areas, different social and economic backgrounds, different professions, etc. But regardless of specific-case minor deviations from the average such as that, overall, the hourglass shape is in the minority.

People should really learn to do some basic research on a topic before getting all bent out of shape while telling someone that they're wrong.
