TMZ has learned actress Piper Perabo was injured yesterday in an accident on the Toronto set of her TV show "Covert Affairs."
Reps from the USA Network tell TMZ Perabo sustained an injury to one of her knees. We're told she's being treated and should make a full recovery.

Well, that was a boo-boo worthy of $20million in free publicity for "Covert Affairs". Maybe Joey Lawrence needs to hit his elbow on something to get more people tuning into his new sit-com co-starring Melissa Joan Hart. He could hit his elbow and tweet, "I hit my elbow on the kitchen counter on the set of my new sitcom.
Cher can maybe stub a toe when it comes time to promote her upcoming film.
Injuries = publicity. And in these tough economic times, when studios are cutting back, the stars MUST step up and stub or otherwise bruise something.

No it wasn't just a "boo boo". The production shut down. She was flown
to surgery in NY. My friend works on that show, and just cleared out his
office. It's a nasty boo boo.
Get well Piper, and keep away from stunts.
