Lindsay Lohan's lawyer says the story that Lindsay somehow tried to "escape" rehab to get a soda is "absurd and untrue."
Shawn Chapman Holley tells TMZ, she spoke with Lindsay's counselors yesterday and there was absolutely no mention made of any attempt by Lindsay to cross the line.
Holley adds, "The counselor gave Lindsay an unqualified glowing report on her progress."
TMZ first reported ... Lindsay is at the Betty Ford Clinic. We've independently confirmed ... there's a soda machine in Lindsay's ward, allowing her to walk a matter of feet in order to satisfy a caffeine fix.

It sounded totally made-up from the beginning. They need to find the first website that printed it and hold them accountable. I wish Lindsay would go live in obscurity and we'd never have to hear from her again, but the BS reporting has to stop.

@seraf666 Ali (Aliana) got headlines recently for having her identity stolen and modeling Lindsay's line. Ali is just quiet, so she doesn't get headlines. If and when she does something newsworthy, it'll be blasted all over the net. Hopefully, if she does, it'll be positive. So far, nothing negative but Ali deals with made-up stories of her clubbing and getting plastic surgery and breast augmentation.

So Lindsay is doing great and making so much progress in rehab that there is no need for the 30 days in jail or an extension of the formal probation? LOL
The Judge should just sentence her to jail/rehab whatever and end this case. The prosecution isn't even making sentencing recommendations any more and just going along with what the Judge decides.

TMZ is a lot more reliable than Radar and have solid Lindsay sources. It was Lindsay's team that leaked Morningside to TMZ because they knew at UCLA she would get out early and Morningside were going to be tougher on her so it was HIGHLY likely she would have violated probation.
She did violate probation anyway by failing the drug test but that was just bad luck.
