Nothing unusual about this. If I was worth BILLIONS like this guy is I would definitely tip $100 to servers. $100 to George Lucas is NOTHING!

I've met Lucas several times. He's an arrogant ass. I think he's got a light saber up his butt.

$500 is a nice tip from celebrities in New York, $1,000 tip makes your next visit a Royal occasion.

$100 tip is an insult.

They guy next to you tipped $30 and all he had was drinks with his lady.

George it costs $100 to fill up the gas tank in the car. You tipped the waiter, which she might split with the busboy and bartender, enough money to buy gas for her car. Lucky for her she lives in New York City and can't afford a car anyway, parking is $200 a month, some folks don't bother.

George $100 is fine if you're having lunch alone, but bring your family thats a grand tip. Heck you should have picked up the tab for everyone there.

I would not want to be known amongst the folks in the service industry as very bad tipper.

I guess for you George it's a trade off, at least it's publicity for the place that you stopped by and graced the world with your presence. Some people will endure anything. I have to wonder don't you question the funny taste in the food you get when you leave lousy tips?

You would know the difference if you ever tipped properly.
