Thought that Michael had "sworn" NEVER to speak to the press, paps, anyone about LiLo. What a Publicity Grabber he is! Now he has had a song written about his daughter (or a tribute to her, etc?) He is getting as bad as mom, Dina, at trying to grab the "limelights"! Michael, why don't you just wait a little while to see if Lindsay really remains clean/sober for a good (lentghy) period of time! I wouldn't be dedicating any songs to her quite yet! Give her some time!
Hope that this suffering young woman learns to detach from whatever is sick and stick with what is healthy. She can love her parents, accept their serious emotional problems, and still be totally detached. She'll never fix 'em. She has to focus on her own higher power and the twelve steps. She suffers from addiction which is very much like diabetes. The insulin for addiction is MEETINGS. Without MEETINGS she will grow sicker and die. In the event that Lindsay ever reads this comment, this is for her: Focus, Lindsay! Focus on the MEETINGS, the twelve steps and your higher power. Detach with love from your long suffering and emotionally troubled parents. That doesn't mean you can't ever visit them. Just don't allow yourself to be influenced or effected by them. MEETINGS will help you to practice the art of loving detachment until it comes naturally. Don't' get caught up in analyzing how the MEETINGS work. They just do, so show up and accept that MEETINGS are your life saving insulin. They work.
