Whoopi Goldberg PISSED Over NY Times Oscar Snub

well, poopie! ooops! my mistake..Whoopie! so you won an oscar! so what? you are not Oscar material and you sure don't act like it! No one wants your fat ass potty mouth on t.v. except friends of your color with no class. GET a life and try to HELP people, instead of making them sick looking at your corn row hair and fat ass....

WOW this is upsetting yes she may have gone overboard a bit. However come on people how many Oscar's do you have? She is in the right to want her props. I also agree that it was a very, very foolish statement that someone made about it being a token Oscar. She was amazing in the movie Ghost. I feel if your going to mention names than mention them all or NONE....

I used to enjoy Whoopie but then she turned into this huge opinionated liberal windbag. Reminds me of Rosie O'Donnell so hateful, nasty to anyone who has a different opinion than their prescribed socialist version. The truly remarkable thing is at one time they were both "funny" now they just seem to be bitter old socialist seeking, loud mouth vacuous hags. Perhaps they should check their wealth in at the door and redistribute it to "others" since they are so ashamed to be American. I think perhaps they would prefer to redistribute "our" hard earned wealth instead. Liberals always have an agenda and it usually doesn't pertain to "them".

Whhopie, do you really think you getting an Oscar will improve the plight of the average black person? And I mean that with all due respect, nobody will give a damn about it tomorrow, or next year or FOREVER. Just go on being you, and be glad you have a job, because a whole bunch of women would love that job you have. Do some stand-up, you are really good at that.
As for Charlie Sheen, if you get kicked of 2 and a half men, ITS ABOUT TIME. YOUR SHOW CORRUPTS THE YOUTH OF AMERICA, AND THERE ARE ONLY A FEW OF US THAT CAN GET WOMEN as often as you portray on the show, but REALLY? 7 AND 7:30 back to back for about 5 years now, I know every line. I'm always amazed by the rich and famous. She has everything money can buy. A job where she gets to run her mouth AND she feels snubbed by a newspaper for not getting more attention for an award she won quite some time ago, and insulted becuase she was the 2nd black women. Hey you ordinary folks out there, don't you wish you could consider something like that a snub and important enough to get air time for it? Some people need to get knocked back into our reality.

I was not going to comment but after seeing the clip I first vomited and then came over to give a comment. Who-Pee needs to realize that it was a mistake or that they did not want to mention her (their choice) and quit blowing her horn. I see an aging black who dated a few white guys and somehow thinks a great transformation occured and that now she is a "world wide known" person who should be lauded in all accounts of black achievement but sadly, for her, she is not that.

Supposedly the NYT clarified that the article was about the increase in Black Americans who won since 2002. Prior to that only 7 had won. SO ------ WHY WOULDN'T the article at least name the seven who won before the big wave starting in 2002. I think she has a good journalistic point, that happens to coincide with her being one of the Magnificent Seven!!!!!!!

The whole NYT article is racist. It is segregating one certain race. When will people wake up to that? The more you want to be seen as a color or a different group-you are the one who are dividing yourselves. It id a polluted thought to identify your group over and over and over again, and then cry racism if people identify you as that. WTF? Move Forward!

Pardon me for my above misspelling. It IS a cancerous thought pattern to continue to classify yourselves by an ethnic group or color, and then think others are racist because they identify you by your ethnicity or color. It is absurd. We are all unique. We all have gifts and challenges.
Can we please refer to ourselves as Americans.

First Academy Award for an African American Actress in 70 years??? YES she is PROUD. YES she deserves acclaim for winning and her other nomination.

YES Academy Awards are given MANY times for the actor's BODY OF WORK and not just that particular role, so WHAT? She was terrific in GHOST and amazing in THE COLOR PURPLE.

It was a SNUB, it was WRONG and she is correct it was SLOPPY journalism. NOT worthy of the NY Times.
