MJ Was On the Hunt For The Perfect Anesthesiologist

2/17/2011 10:00 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF

Michael Jackson was such a hard-core drug addict ... he actually interviewed an anesthesiologist  to follow him to London to "take care of him."

Michael Jackson Doctor

Jackson -- who had a well-documented Propofol addiction for years before his death -- tried recruiting Dr. David Adams, a Las Vegas anesthesiologist, to go on tour with him in 2009.

We've learned Dr. Adams told LAPD investigators that several months before MJ's death ... Dr. Conrad Murray and Michael met with Dr. Adams and said, "We think it would be great to have an anesthesiologist go on the [This Is It] tour."

Turns out Dr. Adams had a history with Michael ... he had put MJ under with Propofol four times in two years for various procedures.

Adams thought about it and texted Murray, "I'd like to be on board.  Let's talk about it."  But MJ and Murray never contacted him again.

Murray's defense team spokesperson Miranda Sevcik says, "Dr. Murray did not know David Adams."  But Sevcik did say the defense has subpoenaed Dr. Adams for the trial.

Thank you for saying that and believed in me. I, however, was pushed out/"murdered" from the MJ rabid fans club by your pals, specifically, MiMi, MiniMiMi and mostly Cherwood. Therefore, despite of my journalist investigations and college degree, I was totally discouraged to do anymore research and investigations. Actually, the more I investigate and research, the more I am becoming less a fan.

You and I would butt heads on more than one occasion. You held your own for the most part. I still believe Michael was murdererd. You should have stood your ground. No one pushes me around when I believe in something. I did not agree with you all the time but at least your posts were worthy of reading and gave insight into other possibilities of what really happened to Michael Jackson on 6/25/2009.

What a surprise....
MJ looking for drugs...
thats what drug addicts do....
God. I really wish he would just go away and people stop talking about him.
I guess technically he went away, seeing as to his a$$ is dead, but everyone needs to stop talking about him.
He was POS.
Didn't deserve ANY money or fame.

He needed propofol to sleep for he was so high-tolerant for benzodiazepines and this high-tolerance can only be created by structural use. On the onset of his death he took a combination of this drugs, that would knock an elephant out, yet he *still* couldn't sleep. Not the propofol, but that he *needed* propofol instead of a "normal" sleeping aid, shows the height of his addiction.
That all said, the doctor is still responsible for a) nor creating a correct environment to administator propofol and b) was obviously clueless when it comes down to cpr and emergency procedures. That alone makes it manslaughter.

Where's the proof that Michael Jackson needed propofol to sleep? That's murray's story. Propofol is the height of Murray's lie. According to Murray, the night michael called him, Michael complained of dehydration not insomnia. I can't see where murray makes a claim that michael complained of sleeplessness during the previous six weeks.
per the chef, KC michael was eating and drinking 3 times per day. no doctor is going to administer an anesthetic to a patient with food and drink in his stomach. the patient would vomit or the liquied could go into the patient's lungs. Per ms. chase, when she arrived for work on 6/25/2009, she found it odd that michael did not eat the dinner she left for him the night before. Murray was aware of this too. That's one of the reasons why the quack gave michael all those drugs on an empty stomach.
We have murray's story that he was weaning Michael off of propofol. Thus the stupid fool murray gave michael a lethal dose of it????? pleaszzzzzz.

Murray is a liar. How on earth can murray wean a patient off an anesthetic by administering it six nights per week knowing the person is eating and drinking at least 3 times per day?
................give me a break w/the bogus BS!

I am a MJ admirer for years. But I do have to say that statements like "he was no addict" doesn't hold any water. He needed propofol to sleep for he was so high-tolerant for and this high-tolerance can only be created by structural use. On the onset of his death he took a combination of this drugs, that would knock an elephant out, yet he *still* couldn't sleep///
???????????
Just exactly this combination with a huge dose of damn propofol has killed MJ . Along with that it is not known still when these all benzodiazepines have been applied-when he already was in a deep sleep from propofol or before it. (like the propofol found out in his stomach) Also there are no proofs, except statements of CM , media and such fans like you that he regularly used anesthesiologists as to receive propofol. It needs facts!

HI mymjj5!!! You are very smart!".... I can't see where murray makes a claim that michael complained of sleeplessness during the previous six weeks...and so on.
!!!!!!!!!!!!
He likely has again forgotten ( because he is forgetful ) to tell? Ah, no! After all, Michael was healthy, therefore he drove Michael away on rehearsal.

There is... It is called the *autopsy report*. Maybe you should read it. Also look at the drugs they found in his house outside the reports in media outlets (this is well do***ented, just like in any other criminal investigation), not to mention that anyone who knew Michael Jackson (from familily, bodyguards, people he closley worked with) have stated that they knew he was (ab)using prescription drugs and even staged interventions (why would they do that, because he was abusing pepsi cola???)

Being a fan is one thing, not believing all official witnesses and/or statements cause you prefer some conspiracy theory is another. Keep in mind that conspiracy theories need proof too...

That all said, I'm glad that I'm "such a fan", for I do not want to be - in any shape or form - be connected or even be represented by fans like you.

Hey john!

Wether or not MJ had a drug addiction is not the point here. The point is that Murray was negligent and is guilty in this situation. Now a GREAT Entertainer is no longer around. Murray needs to accept guilt and quit trying to take others down with him. Other doctors that might have administered Propofol to MJ in the past, does not matter. Murray was on the scene for the fatal dose! The Jackson Family deserves closure and the opportunity to put this horrible tragedy behind them. Murray deserves life in prison without parole! by letsbereal

Being in the public's eye like MJ was, is difficult! Stars are just everyday people. Whether or not MJ had a drug addiction, is not the issue here. The issue is that Murray was on the scene and should have been monitoring MJ! Murray's story has changed so many times, it is ridiculous! The guy is Guilty as well as Negligent and needs to pay for this. This continuing and trying to bring things up from the past needs to stop! The Jackson Family deserves closure from this horrible occurrence and MJ needs to be able to rest in peace.

What you don't want to be disappointed in the fact that Michael was not a drug addict... Such a bright personality and not a drug addict? How is it so?
You will need to give up, Michael was not a drug addict. And these drugs received by him on prescription were only for necessary treatment, not for the buzz as you think, or want to think, or tune others upon these thoughts !

This from Tim Masters entertainment correspondent of BBC News amused us
- Victoria Falls really is an awesome spectacle, even late Michael Jackson wanted it!

Kenny Ortega - the choreographer of Michael Jackson's ill-fated shows at London's O2 arena - is chuckling at the memory of one of the singer's big stage ideas. "One morning Michael called me and said: 'Victoria Falls!' and I said: 'That's in Africa'. "And he said: 'That's why we have to have it!'"
What Michael wanted was the Victoria Falls in 3-D pouring over the stage - with him in front of it, singing! Kenny Ortega, choreographer, a long-time friend of Jackson, is director of the film This Is It which is released on 28 October. The movie is based on more than 100 hours of footage from rehearsals for the 50 London shows Jackson had planned to perform. Jackson died in June aged 50.
"Daily, Michael and I would be creative jousting and wrestling down ideas," recalls Ortega. "I think Michael wanted the world on stage, and he wanted the wonders of the world represented on stage. "We had choirs and children and dancers and singers and musicians and effects and movies and the world's largest 3-D hi-definition screen.
Ortega was speaking after a press screening of 12 minutes of unseen footage from the This Is It movie. Jackson is seen working out dance moves to Human Nature, with his backing band in Los Angeles. The star is also seen performing The Way You Make Me Feel with a solo girl dancer, followed by an energetic sequence with some male dancers dressed as construction workers.
At one point Jackson drops to the ground in a press-up pose and leaps back up. He appears to be in good health, and his singing voice is strong. The building site set - with its silhouetted dancers scaling upwards - looks impressive on the big screen. Jackson died two weeks before he was due to return to the stage in London
Ortega thinks the film will have an appeal wider than Jackson's fanbase. "I think it goes way beyond the fans," he says. "You see a show being built with Michael as the main architect. "I loved watching the young dancers on stage with Michael: seeing the sparkle in their eyes and the excitement in their bodies - that they were on the stage with the very man that inspired them to want to be dancers." Ortega adds: "The show was massive, but it was also intimate. With just Michael alone on the stage, with the light, with the band, and audience. We really worked out a plan so that those dynamics were in harmony."

All the Murray supporters or just haters of MJ can say all the BS you want about Michael because it really does not matter. He is not on trial!

------------------

Really? He is not trial? Don't fool yourself. This is one thing your rabid minds cannot wrap around. Everytime when his name is mentioned, from now till enternity, he is on trial, his dirty laundry, his molestation charges will attach to his name in the same breath, evey and single time. Can you deal with it?
