Hypocrites. The Feds always get the best drugs when they bust the "criminals" who possess. Haven't you ever wondered where the drugs from the busts go? To the Feds to use and sell!!

Your Honor, the prosecution has reached a plea deal with Mr. Bruno Mars for cutting and snorting several lines of Blow in a men's restroom. We would recommend a hefty fine and several hours of community service for his atrocious and lowly behavior. We do hope sir, not to ever see this drugged-out coke feign in this courtroom again, sir.

WHAT A SHAME

Harvey will Clark County Deputy District Attorney David Schubert lose his job because he was arrested for cocaine possession? It does not seem fair that he was putting people in jail while he was breaking the law, is that a conflict of interest? Harvey would his cases be under review? I'm prone to imagine if he is in the habit of violating the law that perhaps he has done so while being in office. Will there be a full investigation into his career?

I don't see how his office could prosecute him while he is the Deputy DA. Is there a seperate internal division or perhaps a Government division that would investigate him? This seems like something for the FBI.

It takes a coke user to make easy plea deals with other users. I wonder if he'll get an easy deal.

It is unlikely that a case would be overturned or receive a new trial because of this guy's arrest. It does not necessarily mean that defendants did not receive a fair trial or exempt them from breaking the law.

It is ironic for sure and he will likely be suspended from the state bar if he is convicted, but lawyers have a huge problem with addiction and state bars have lowered the tolerance for this typically to two infractions, but not felonies. It varies by state and jursidiction. If he were a habitual offender or violated the state bar licensing terms, then he would be up for disbarment and entitled to a hearing for due process reasons.
