Charlie Sheen -- I Took A PEE TEST At The Airport

4/20/2011 2:25 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Charlie Sheen says he has a damn good excuse why he was late to his live show in Washington D.C. yesterday -- he had to take a leak.

When a tardy Charlie appeared on stage at the DAR Theater last night -- he told the crowd he took a drug test before he got on his plane ... explaining, "I waited at the airport for people to show up with a little bottle ... cop in a cup as I like to call it."

Charlie says he volunteered to take the pee test after his custody battle with Brooke Mueller yesterday -- because he wanted to prove he has nothing to hide.

Sheen once again tripped over his big mouth and it backfired.

Sheen lost his custody bid, tanks in D.C. how many so called shows are left?

****

Um... too many? Every one of them full of apparently either drunks wanting to see Charlie go off the deep end and say really crazy stuff, or hecklers vying to see if they're going to be the one to push him off the edge (this based on reporting from every show). Oh yeah, and maybe a few true acolytes of the Church of Charlie, waiting eagerly to bow down to their messiah in anticipation of him rising from the 'dead,' kinda like someone else, on Easter Sunday.

Watch out, though, Sheen's followers are getting increasingly nasty, as you can see from the comment above yours.

This guy is quite the tool. People go to his shows because they're inspired by his truth? Yeah, he's not in reality.

Actually they do. He shows that he is not afraid to say F*** you when it's needed, and many are scared to death to even THINK it.

People interviewed before Charlie's shows, in almost every city so far, have stated that they are attending because they want to see how he's going to come unglued this time. They are there for the wreck, and some don't realize how pathetic that really is.

Charlie is not spouting truth - he's telling stories of his fabled past. You know, that one that was full of prostitutes, drugs, alcohol abuse and illegal activities. He makes himself out to be bigger than life by virtue of his seedy exploits, and his hangers-on idolize him for it. Why? Oh, because he has the balls to tell us all that he DID these things.

And why are his stories so popular? Why are they more interesting than stories about real heroes who save lives, or work in third world countries to improve lives? Because Charlie's stories speak directly to wish fulfillment. They encompass what young people dream of when stuck in their mundane, everyday lives... for a while.

The difference is that these kids go back home, and go back to their supposedly mundane lives, and eventually their messianic experience with Charlie fades. They live in REALITY, unlike their current "hero."

WTF He could have done the pee test in the morning in CA, in the court house even. Liar.

It's been a couple days now... when are those results going to be presented? You know, if he was "clean as a whistle," it'd be reported to every single gossip site in an instant. But we haven't heard a THING... hmmm.

I'm amazed that Sheen hasn't tried to patent that "blinking eye" cure thingy. Then he wouldn't have to finish the rest of this stinkbomb of a tour.

Think of it!! The "motivational" videos! The "self-help" books! Wow, he'd better jump right on that before someone else does, or he's going to miss out on a badly needed source of revenue for the future.

Addiction willed into oblivion. Like it's never been there. That's our man.

I am proud to be his fan each time he comes out of another test with flying colors :)

Still, what about THIS test?

Where are the results if there's nothing to hide?? Or maybe he didn't take the test after all and this was all another of Charlie's 'fabrications.'

We have to remember that, since things that go wrong, like being late, aren't Charlie's fault, he has to blame SOMETHING, right? I think this was just another convenient excuse in Charlie's repertoire.

Good thing that Charlie's "work" doesn't require drug tests right now. Otherwise, we'd probably have heard something conclusive about this supposed 'test.'

Then again, Charlie's "work" also doesn't require that he be on time for anything.

@Raymond

Just found the cutest pic of Charlie with the boys. Looks like it was taken last year. It really is horrible that he gets to see them so rarely.

By the time he's done with this "tour," the rest of the world will be so sick of him, other show's ratings will tank if he's on them:

After riding a PR wave flimsily built on his bad boy behavior, Sheen lost his battle with CBS—and now with the general public, says a Q&A Research survey. Polling 350 households across the U.S., positive impressions of Sheen have fallen, from 41% prior to recent events involving the actor, to just 8%. Other study findings include:

• Sheen’s negative impressions have risen from 31% to 71%.

• Thanks to both mainstream media attention and Sheen’s self-initiated Internet blitz, 97% of those surveyed are following the saga of the actor and CBS.

• Over a third of survey takers (36%) are so turned off presently by him that they are now less likely to tune into any future television series featuring the actor.

*****

Yes, 97% are following the antics, but given the only 8% that have positive impressions, one can see that it's only for curiosity's sake. Charlie's 15 minutes were over a loooonnnnggg time ago.

What's really horrible is that he's not adhering to the terms of the agreement where it concerns his allotted days and times to see the children. Why?

Oh, that's right, because he "has" to work to support them. Or he's so rich he doesn't have to work. Or... what's the excuse today?
