One year ago the piano player was endlessly giving interviews about all of her own charity work -- on Mr. Gibson's money -- and somehow none of these charities have any kinds of records of her 'work'?

Mel Gibson has made mistakes; however, which one of us can admit to never having made a hurtful mistake – large or small, especially while angry or under intoxication. He’s human and has the same weaknesses as the rest of us. He’s not obligated to prove his self-worth to us; he’s only obligated to himself. He doesn’t owe us anything. Regarding where he chooses to do his charitable work – who cares?! We are one human race! That’s what is wrong with society and this world, which is the downfall of societies – TOO MUCH DIVISION: race, religion, money, power, etc. Volunteer and or donate money yourselves to whatever charities you deem deserving instead of criticizing him where he chooses to do his.

Anyone who has followed Mel's career will know that he has done amazing charity work without a lot of fanfare throughout the years. He is just doing what he has always done, nothing's different.

Mel is a good person, I don't care what others say about him. Oksana charity work? Yeah, only to herself. Anyone that helps children has a good heart. Did Oksana do any charity work before meeting Mel Gibson? Did she even work at anything in her life, other than being a pro at getting money from other people?

bravo mr gibson! you wanna do some real work? you wanna make a difference? quit visiting a hospital and go build a few in a few countries around the world. how about a few schools too while your at it and maybe build a new village or two or rebuild a destroyed city? you got the money and the power now mr gibson. its time to be a real hero. go out there and get em!

And, to everyone in a tizzy because stars don't give at home. They actually do - along with the rest of us. It's called taxes. We all pay for programs that help those in "need," such as welfare and food stamps. Other countries, such as Guatemala, do NOT have programs funded by taxpayers - or anyone. I give Mel credit for doing what he can for children that are truly in need.
