And KP, the gun didn't walk up and shoot her you idiot. A mentally deranged human walked up and shot her. If he didn't have a gun it could have been a knife or anything else. So we should ban silverware, right?!!? I'll never understand people like you. A gun is an inanimate object. It can't do anything without a human putting their finger on the trigger. Dumb, dumb, dumb.....

She does not look retarded. The short hair makes her look weird though, other than that there wasn't much change.

She looks surprisingly good for a person who was shot in the head but from what I've read, she's a long way from the person she used to be. It's very sad to think that her life - and her husband's - has been altered so radically because of one completely insane and violent person. Not to mention the lives lost.

Well, my best to her and I hope she can live a full and happy and healthy life.

TBI is such a life changing thing, we all need to be patient while she recovers. It took my brother nearly 16 months to be "normal" but he still doesn't remember most of our childhood. No one should expect her to be the same woman. I just pray she can go back to work for the people of Tucson next year. God Bless her!

God has really looked over her since she was shot. She still looks beautiful.

I am so glad she survived. She may still have a while to go before she fully recovers but I am wishing her all the best.

Jared Loughner might be more competent than you. If you can read, you will know it's a Right. If you don't want it to be so, that can certainly be changed via constitutional admendments or a congressional convention, good luck!

It's good to know she is recovering and finally see pictures, she sure had a ton of luck and possibly an angel protecting her on that day. What I want to see is Jared's reaction when he see's her alive for the 1st time, then again he would likely believe she is a treasonous stunt double or something in the likeness.
