Ryan Dunn

Bam Margera's Morbid Death Prediction

6/23/2011 6:15 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Five years before Ryan Dunn was killed in a violent car crash, Bam Margera predicted the "Jackass" star's death in eerily specific detail -- claiming, "He's gonna eat it one of these times [in a car accident]."

0622_bam_ryan_launch_ex

Bam -- along with several cast members from his MTV show "Viva La Bam" -- made the grim prediction while recording the DVD commentary for Season 5 back in 2006.

According to the commentary, Dunn was involved in SEVERAL car accidents over the years -- but Bam's mom claimed, "He'll never learn his lesson."

Another "Bam" cast member added, "I have [Ryan] in the death pool ... for death by vehicle."

In this specific episode, Ryan races Bam's Lamborghini in a limousine -- and after Ryan loses, Bam claims, "[the limo] blew up just like every other f**king car he has."

My thoughts exactly, Fred. Bam was pretty much off the radar and is using this for a boost to his sad, little ego.

Wow, I have never seen someone type so much yet not convey an intelligent point.

You're English comprehension really is also pretty limited.

"Friends" Dunn was drinking with several friends that night. Note the "S" at the end- that means it's plural and not singular.

"Jackass" That is the brand Dunn and Bam and the rest of the "Jackasses" created for themselves.

The bottom line is this, his friends KNEW he was a reckless driver, his friends KNEW that he was at least drinking (if not drunk), his friends did nothing to stop him.

They can rage against Ebert all they want, but if they really want to work through their grief, they should stop projecting.

Calling people hypocrites? Nice try...MOST people don't act in a way that a reasonable person would know that it could cause a death.

Now you want people to blame politicians because alcohol is legal? I guess you never heard of personal accountability. No one HAS to drink.

Dunn chose to. Dunn chose to get behind the wheel. Dunn chose to speed.

Dunn is responsible for his own death, stop trying to blame it on society.

dude has a lengthy history of driving badly and wrecking cars, and most likely driving while drunk or at least tipsy (don't try to convince me this is the first time he's ever tried it). he most certainly deserved the fate he's tempted so many times. i bet the jackass clan feels really stupid now looking back at their cavalier attitude about dunn's bad driving

@Matt

So? Maybe that's a good thing, instead of sending out pathetic tweets against Roger Ebert and reading TMZ, he can exam his own behavior and make a positive change in his life.

"Jackass" supporters are really coming across as vile children, spamming Eberts FB account. There don't seem to be any reports of MADD supporters doing that to Dunn's.

Hey JB I'll call you out. Trashing someone who just lost their best friend is being a douche bag yourself. Can't wait to you lose someone close to you. Someone is always a tough guy sitting behind a monitor trashing someone. Try saying your hate in front of Bam's face tough guy and see how long ya last.

The Marlboro Man died of lung cancer.
The founder of Wendys died of clogged arteries.
A Jackass gets drunk and dies in a fiery crash.

The world makes sense after all.

What do we each see when we look at this incident? We can see what the effects of alcohol can do when behind the wheel and maybe we should not endanger the lives of others along with ourselves. And here I see the two drank and knew they were going to get into that car and do that stunt....no one forced them.
We can see that maybe there should be more strict guidleines set in place to check for substance or alcohol before doing any such stunts. And though crazy daring young idiots as they were does not make them immune to death's door and maybe that's just the point..they knew they were at death's door. They lived it.They challenged it.A different crazy breed to beathe every moment as their last knowing they may only get one chance..yeah gotta be some crazy love in that.Life, what we all seem to take for granted they come to taste every fiber, see and appreciate every rising sun and drops of rain that fall. You might say they pu*****,or sma***** or tackle it..maybe even ruin it and at the cost of their own crazy lunatic insane lives they know it."Warning,do not attempt to walk the tightrope between life and death unless your prepared to meet your maker"...maybe they were as prepared as they were ever gonna be and just maybe'they knew it'-.Maybe you may stop and wonder if they thought about what effect this would have on their loves ones who cared for them. And I can't help but think they gave that a heck of a lot of thought too, everytime they gave that crazy stunt their all."This may be the last time I see them"...you see drunk or sober we never know for sure what moment is our last and yes some do like to pu*****..push for the thrill, for the family, for the gain, for overcoming ones self,to see maybe for people to know it could be done and to endure this challenge over and over and over again.Villain or hero.Crazy big hearted foolish idiot who rides on the breath of the wind and stares death so boldly in its face.To not value the taste of life until you have worn the mask of death. He truly knew life. When I take another look at the sun as it rises in the sky I shall think of you.~ Love

And now we know he was double the legal limit, how do all you sycophants feel now? His own friends predicted his fiery death, so today more than the past days the statement live like a jackass you'll die like a jackass rings true

You can't live life like a madman and then be shocked when someone's demise is entirely predictable. Learn the lesson staring everyone in the face. Don't freaking drink and drive.

I ever get into an accident with someone like that and they are drunk, don't ever think I will take kindly to it. Too many idiots feel they have the right to drink and drive and damn everyone else.
