Ryan Dunn

Bam Margera's Morbid Death Prediction

6/23/2011 6:15 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Five years before Ryan Dunn was killed in a violent car crash, Bam Margera predicted the "Jackass" star's death in eerily specific detail -- claiming, "He's gonna eat it one of these times [in a car accident]."

0622_bam_ryan_launch_ex

Bam -- along with several cast members from his MTV show "Viva La Bam" -- made the grim prediction while recording the DVD commentary for Season 5 back in 2006.

According to the commentary, Dunn was involved in SEVERAL car accidents over the years -- but Bam's mom claimed, "He'll never learn his lesson."

Another "Bam" cast member added, "I have [Ryan] in the death pool ... for death by vehicle."

In this specific episode, Ryan races Bam's Lamborghini in a limousine -- and after Ryan loses, Bam claims, "[the limo] blew up just like every other f**king car he has."

most of us already knew that people who knew him - his drinking -his love of speeding - his reckless nature had said things over the years like

"I wouldn't be surprised SOME DAY/ONE DAY if...."

followed by their fear that he would crash and maybe kill himself if he continued that way

all of us with family and friends have said the ..I wouldn't be surprised some day/one day if.... at one time or another
even if it were followed by one day he'll be a doctor/fireman etc., or one day they'll get married. or she'll end up getting pregnant if she keeps this up

Eerie prediction my foot. Ryan Dunn was a DRUNKARD, and so much so that even his friends and his family could see his manner of death coming years in advance. The role of "jackass" was clearly the story of his life. I thank God that he didn't take an innocent family and children with him.

"Do not be deceived; neither the immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexual prostitutes, nor homosexual offenders, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor (((DRUNKARDS))), nor revilers, nor robbers will inherit the kingdom of God." -- 1 Corinthians 6:9-10

Ryan Dunn is now in Hell, but you still have time to repent, dear reader.

Doesn't this make Bam the jackass to which Roger was referring?
Seems to me Bam had a clue....an apology is owed to Roger who totally called it.

Strange, eerie predictions? Or, just a comment from someone who probably rode several times in car with him and experienced his "jackass" driving.

Thank God that "Jackass" didn't kill anybody else.

Yeah. Drinking and driving. That's cool...

Interesting clip.

It's obvious you shouldn't drink and drive and shouldn't speed. The overwhelming majority of people know this. So cheers for so many people pointing out the obvious in the name of 'having a debate' about something that had been obvious from the start, and is obvious to most people. A huge contribution to safety. Lol. Obviously for some people this has been some kind of revelation given their sudden rush of platitudes. IIRC Ryan Dunn was once pulled over doing over 150mph during Gumball 3000, years ago. Possibly more times. And he got away with the risky behaviour because most of the time people do. If there were any certainty about the outcome people wouldn't take risks. That's why it's so dangerous and why it is so easy to get a false sense of security. Everyone can see the tragic outcome, but stating the obvious is just that. I feel for his friends and family and was a fan of the show.

Got forwarded a quite funny MTV Cribs from when Jackass was just starting to be successful, of Ryan Dunn's crib:

Not the typical MTV Crib. Lol & I love that they kept the standard cribs editing/music.

It doesn't take a psychic to predict a hard drinking risk taker with a penchant for driving really fast is going to die in a car crash.

No Bam Margera was far away when he found out. Roger Ebert was just stating the obvious in response to a news story because in his world there has to be an immediate moral to a story. Even hours after it happened. You have read his film reviews, haven't you?

I have watched every episode of viva la bam, unholy union and all the jackass movies.Besides Bam, Dunn was my favorite. The fact that this was said on any of these shows was not ment to tell the future or anything along those lines.Lets face it it could have happened to any one of them. They lost a dear friend and I think that everyone needs to respect the family and leave them alone. This is a hard thing to deal with without everyone being a**holes.Keep the coments to yourselves and back the f**k off!!!

So they knew he would die via a violent automobile accindent hey? Well ole Ebert is right, and you all his so called friends did nothing!
So Bam, do you feel a little guilty now for not trying to help the guy before this happened?
Do you not realize that you and he are so lucky that he did not kill more than one person?

People, we have all made mistakes with drinking and driving, but not all of us have gone 130 miles per hour ever, especially with a .24, 3 times the legal limit BAL.

I feel for his family and friends, it is sad that another human being is dead before when need be, but I am glad no one else innocent died.

Rest in peace young man, rest in peace.
