That is a pretty beta fish,but the water looks cloudy. He needs to put some real plants in its fish tank, not fake, bamboo works, also the dieffenbachia Plant or, Philodendron or Spathaphylium (Peace Lily) would work, the plants live with their roots sticking in the fishes's water and you dont need the soil, you would have to change the water less often.

Hey Harv! is that a Jack Dempsey Cichlid? I have one exactly like it, almost 2 years old now... But his names pebbles and he's a beast.

PS: Water didnt look cloudy Rita, and heck Beta fishes live usually in a little glass jar with nothing in it bu*****er and a few drops a food a day. :) Rib eye looks FINE!!!
