Rod Blagojevich

GUILTY, GUILTY, GUILTY

6/27/2011 1:00 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Rod Blagojevich's next job may be "Celebrity Apprentice, Prison Edition," because a jury just found him guilty of 17 felonies, including bribery and extortion.

The Blagojevich jury wasn't confused the second time around, clearly believing he tried to sell the Senate seat Barack Obama vacated when he was elected Prez.

The jury found the ex-Illinois Governor guilty on 17 out of 20 charges, including wire fraud, attempted extortion, bribery, and on and on.

The wiretap that may have done Blago in captures him saying, "I've got this thing and it's f**king golden, and, uh, uh, I'm just not giving it up for f**king nothing. I'm not gonna do it."

Blagojevich faces upwards of 20 years in prison.

I read in an article he faces maximum 300 years but will most likely get a lowered sentence for his role with the government or something. F-I-G-U-R-E-S

TMZ...come on..get your facts straight. He faces up to 350 years in prision, with many of the wire fraud counts facing 20 years, $250,000 fine max. He was guilty on 10-separate wire fraud accounts.

Adding up all his guilty counts, looking between 310-320 years and/or $4.5 million in fines.

His House and Condo are already up as collateral.

"Justice will be done!"

Nah!

He'll get a slap on the wrist, as in a suspended sentence.
He still knows too much about the Corruption Factory that has graced our political scene with the likes of the Daly's, Rahm Emmanuel and our Apologizer-in-Chief, Professor Obama, to mention just the latest in a long line of deceitful liars, thieves and panderers....a.k.a. The Chicago Machine.

He'll walk....he's a Democrat!!!

This would have been "breaking news" if you had posted it about 90 minutes before you had. btw- he is realistically facing 8-11 years, not 350 years. Now get my fries with that shake you moron.

Blagojevich is the 2nd consecutive Illinois governor convicted of corruption!!

Former Gov. George Ryan is currently in federal prison.

a little info on the continued state of Illinois corruption:

http://www.time.com/time/nation/article/0,8599,1865681,00.html

so hopefully you can understand why I'm nervous that Obama is another product of the same Illinois political machine - probably the most corrupt in the country for a long time

the only way you got anywhere politically in that state was to be a part of it--frightening thought isn't it!!

wonder where Obama/Clinton buddy Rahm Emanuel fits into all of tis if anywhere

Blago was in communication with him about the vacant senate

after it all blew open and was too heavily scrutinized he settled for mayor of Chicago

maybe nothing fishy ....
but who knows for sure!!

He will be just like Drew Peterson laughing all the way to his jail cell while mocking the judicial system. I wonder if his fellow inmates will be impressed with his Elvis impersonation.
