The school district that first denied to TMZ they allowed a hardcore porn star to read to first graders has now changed its tune, acknowledging she did indeed make an appearance, but they thought she was a mainstream actress -- not the winner of AVN's 2010 award for "Best Anal Sex Scene."
After the the Compton Unified School District told us Sasha Grey never read to students, we posted this pic which clearly shows otherwise.
Now District officials tell TMZ ... an outside talent coordinator informed the school Grey's calling card was an appearance on "Entourage."
The District says they will now shore up their procedures to make sure "controversial figures" are persona non grata.
Another happy ending ...

I don't see the problem, she was a porn actress and now is retired, she was reading to the kids and not teaching then how to f*ck! And I don't see how someone is going to judge her because everybody have seen a porn movie sometime in their lives, so no much moral authority there. No one in that district knows how to use IMDB? Hey, school, any time you have an actor/actress volunteer, check out IMDB first. It lists what they've done. Keep porn where it belongs - not in schools. Sasha Grey needs to STFU. You chose porn as your career. When you do so, you also choose the consequences. So, don't complain if people cause an uproar when they find out who you are. Take Kim Kardashian and the rest of her crazy family with you.
If you have truly given up porn, do some positive things low key for a while and build a following among a group of people who can vouch for you (not a talent scout).

She's obviously someone who likes to make people uncomfortable. When the fun of making her parents uncomfortable and upset over doing porn wore off, she turned to getting that same reaction from other people. This has nothing to do with helping children. It's all about the reaction and attention she's getting.
