Heather Locklear

Family Wants Treatment

At UCLA Hospital

Heather Locklear is out of the hospital, but we've learned her family wants her back in -- at UCLA Hospital.

As we first reported, Heather went to rehab last October in her battle with prescription drug addiction ... and it wasn't her first time.

Sources tell us the family wants her in a hospital setting this time around -- not a boutique rehab place -- and UCLA has one of the best facilities in the country.

You may recall, Lindsay Lohan spent time at UCLA's Stewart and Lynn Reskick Neuropsychiatric Hospital in August 2010, but she was released early.

As of yesterday, we're told Heather did not want to go to rehab again ... period.

Middle age and menopause i********* her hard. It must be hard to go from hottie to not so hot. Liz Taylor survived it, you can too Heather.

Of course she does not want to go to rehab. These people are used to getting what they want, when they want it. Heather, straighten up for the sake of your daughter. Two divorces, a broken engagement, a career up in flames plus boozing and drugging...get your shait together, you are 50, not a teenager.

For those of you criticizing and telling Heather to "think of her daughter"...it was her selfish, spoiled, self-centered daughter who broke up her engagement. And as far as her sister goes, she obviously has no concern for what she's putting Heather through by making calling the ambulance and making this into a public spectacle when, by all accounts, Heather is a very private person. With "friends" like this, who needs enemies? I hope Heather can find someone to trust, who truly knows her and has her best interests at heart. Then she'll be able to re-group and get her health back.

Sadly one of the goals when you enter rehab, even the court ordered rehab we had for a family member, by the judge for 6 months or longer, they told us on our first visit, the aim was for a two week release. Shocked and having a court order did not matter and they are well paid, it was to be continued on an outpatient basis, I know you can imagine how that went and you are right. Jail finally cured this. It's too bad these celebrities get shoved out of jail in hours or a day. It would do them some good.

I remember when Bill Locklear was the Registrar of Students, back in the day. He was a really great guy. I also remember when Heather attended there, too.

The picture doesn't look anything like the Heather, I knew back then. Must be all that hard living.

Hope she gets better and here's wishing her all the best!
