2012 Grammy Awards host LL Cool J wasted no time addressing the passing of Whitney Houston, leading the star-packed audience in a prayer in her honor.

Immediately after, LL showed a clip of Whitney singing "I Will Always Love You" at the Grammys back in 1994.

Jennifer Hudson is expected to perform a musical tribute to Whitney later in the show. According to Us Magazine, JHud broke down crying while rehearsing earlier in the day and had to restart her number several times before she could finish it.

Very nice..but I would like to see more of a tribute than just a prayer. She is the Queen of Pop.

Yep, as another poster said, this entire Grammy show would be a tribute to Whitney the dumbazz crackhead addict. lmao. I see ALL those TRIBUTES to the Nappy-crackhead are in abundance so far. NOT. She got a few minutes at the beginning and will get a song later, that's it. About like she got in life due to her CHOICES.....bupkis, a butt plug, then six feet under. what a way to end the life God gave you, hope it was "good" for you.

It seemed rather disingenuous of this crowd to be praying. Whom or what were they praying to? Aren't the the same people who make fun of Tim Tebow?
