Sage Stallone

Case Transferred to

Robbery Homicide

7/16/2012 10:44 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
EXCLUSIVE

The death of Sage Stallone -- Sly's son -- is now in the hands of LAPD Robbery Homicide detectives ... law enforcement sources tell TMZ.

We're told the move in no way suggests foul play. Robbery Homicide handles high-profile cases, and this one qualifies.

Sources tell us ... although it will probably take 4 weeks to get a firm cause of death, it's likely that it will either be classified as an accidental death or death from natural causes.

As we reported, a number of pill bottles were found in Sage's bedroom where he died.

1st Mother Luvers! He's swallowed pills like those forced on Marilyn Monroe. Is there a pattern here? Also now Robbery Homicide has the case next Homicide will have the case but it doesn't mean anything.

How can they classify it as death from natural causes? Yeah, usually 36 year old's just drop dead. WTF?

In other words, if you are not a celebrity in that town and you have a loved one die, you might as well just sit back and wait a few months to bury your loved one and get some answers…. because the "special people" come first.

So, Sylvester Stallone asks you, very nicely, to please stop making reports about his son and you just ingnore his request???? Sage Stallone wasn't a big star...why can't you honor his request to greeve his son. This is so sad that you need a story so bad that you're going to pick on a parent greeving his dead son. Very desparate of you TMZ.....very sad and deparate.

Good move. I remember when Michael Hutchence died, the coroner stated "there will be a full investigation. Not because of any suspicious cir***stances, but because he was a rock star who died in a hotel room". It puts the dampeners on all the wannabe conspiracy theorists, so is a good thing.

How the hell does this qualify as high profile? The man acidentially overdoesed himself and ended up dead. Sad but that simple. What is this suppose to be another Jackson, Houston thing.
