I don't know why the media perpetuates the lie about Kerri Strug winning the Gold on an injured ankle. The network showing the Olympics (ABC) made it appear that way. The TEAM had already won the Gold Medal by points before Kerri's last vault on her injured ankle. It is sad to know Bella Karoli (sp?) would let her do the last vault, considering should could have done further damage.

Watching her vault and land that day was like watching Superman save the world...it was awesome and brave (and a little stupid considering it could have ended her career!) but really just amazing.
