Heroin Charges Dropped

Jon Bon Jovi
's daughter will not face criminal prosecution after allegedly overdosing on heroin in a college dorm yesterday -- because the D.A. has dropped all charges.

A rep for the Oneida County District Attorney's Office says it is dismissing all criminal charges against Jon's 19-year-old daughter Stephanie Bongiovi as well as the 21-year-old male student allegedly involved with Stephanie's overdose.

TMZ broke the story ... Stephanie was arrested after being treated by emergency medical personnel following the alleged overdose at a Hamilton College dormitory. Cops claim a drug task force found small quantities of heroin in the dorm room ... along with marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Stephanie was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and criminally using drug paraphernalia. The 21-year-old was also charged with drug possession.

The D.A. says the charges were dropped because of a New York law that specifically prohibits prosecution of people experiencing a drug overdose -- as well as the people who help them seek medical care.

I doubt Bon Jovi cares. Afterall he was more concern about campaigning for Obama than the welfare of his own daughter. Gee, so surprising that no charges were brought up. Nice job being a father Obama Jovi.

On second thought maybe she overdosed after listening to her father's crappy music. I can't blame her.

what a stupid law.
By next week, (if not sooner) they'll be doing herion again. Anyone want to bet on how long before she's dead? Let's hope Daddy puts her ass in rehab and makes sure she can't get out for a very very long time.

You people can't read;.....

It has nothing to do with her father being a celebrity. Google the law!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jon is all about his family and the safety. Read the law in NY!!!!

And she is Bon Jovi's daughter, of course. Glad she is okay, but hope he makes sure she learned her
lesson and puts her a a rehab of some kind, what
does she need to be taking those drugs for anyway?

Let me say it once again, folks. Money talks, bull**** walks. If you've got the bread, you can manipulate any situation. Just ask Elmo.

They dropped the charges because her dad is Bon Jovi. I have never heard of that law before. I hope she goes to rehab and gets the help she needs. Otherwise she will end up dying of an overdose. They are not doing her any favors letting her off the hook.
