Lindsay Lohan

Judge Will REVOKE Probation

11/19/2012 3:25 PM PST BY TMZ STAFF

Lindsay Lohan is about to have her probation revoked ... TMZ has learned.

We broke the story ... Lindsay will be charged with the criminal offense of lying to a police officer.  As you recall, she told Santa Monica cops she was not driving her Porsche last June when it slammed into an 18-wheeler on Pacific Coast Highway. Fact is, she was -- and lying to cops is a crime.

Sources connected with the case tell TMZ ... when the Santa Monica City Attorney files the criminal case against Lindsay, it will go to L.A. County Superior Court Judge Jane Godfrey for arraignment. At the time Lindsay is arraigned, we're told Judge Godfrey will revoke Lindsay's probation and set the matter for a full hearing, on grounds she violated her probation in the jewelry case by breaking the law.

In case you're wondering, the judge who handled the jewelry case, Stephanie Sautner, will not be involved in the probation violation case. Once Lindsay was sentenced, the probation case gets sent to whatever judge is hearing the next criminal case against LiLo.

We're told the criminal case will be filed soon.

The best thing for her would be a longer period of house arrest with strict conditions so she can't just party the time away as she tried to do last time. The sheriff won't keep her in jail, so that won't work. But if she's sentenced to house arrest for the remainder of her probation, even with the crazy way they calculate in her area- she might have to stew at home for at least a couple of months. Another lengthy term of community service afterward would be nice, but the judge has to set up a strict schedule or else she'll just procrastinate as before. The real problem they have with her is that the threat of jail is no threat at all.
The Teflon Queen may have miscalculated in this situation, since a probation violation when on probation for theft is likely to be taken more seriously than when on probation for a DUI (although her DUIs were really a lot more, they were just giving her the first-offender break back in 2007). She now has a long history of violations and police encounters while on probation, which also should inspire a judge to get tougher. It really isn't good for her to keep getting away with such things-she's wasting a lot of time and money on all her legal entanglements. It's about time she got the point.

I don't believe a damn thing about this stupid twit. Whatever TMZ says is going to happen, doesn't. Believe it when it happens and not a moment before. For the record, they should have thrown her ass in the slammer and thrown away the key YEARS ago.

And another!!!

The train wreck that has become Lindsay Lohan didn’t start out that way. She was handily the most gifted pop princess of her incoming class, with a throaty voice that conveyed maturity; she even picked good projects, like Mean Girls, and held her own opposite Meryl Streep in A Prairie Home Companion. After all her drug and legal problems, the decision to rehabilitate (her career, at least) by doing a biopic of Elizabeth Taylor seemed like a savvy one: Both actresses were dogged by paparazzi, substance abuse and personal tragedy. Surely Lohan would bring her own experience to bear. And she looked the part, clearly. I was excited.

And now, disappointed with Liz & Dick, the Lifetime movie (airing Sunday) that was to be her comeback.

Aside from the “look,” Lohan lacks most of Taylor’s essential qualities — most specifically, the volcanic passion percolating under a slightly icy exterior. Taylor was never earthy and warm, like Ava Gardner or Rita Hayworth, but unattainable; imagine her in that white slip from Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, and you can see the formula of sexuality and porcelain perfection that she was — a brunetted and more talented version of Marilyn Monroe.

Lohan has little of that in this TV film, which concentrates on her 20-year relationship with Richard Burton. Taylor had diction and vulnerability; Lohan seems snippy and hardened already. Those qualities come out occasionally, but not consistently, and she too often seems amateurish. It’s simply not her best performance, as much as you want it to be. And the meta-experience of watching Lohan recreate the binge-breakdown cycle of her icon, mirroring her own life, seems less like haunting authenticity than more tabloid exploitation of both of them.

Grant Bowler is more convincing as Burton, with both the craggy looks and the resonant baritone trill, and his heavy-lidded yearning for Liz feels real. Back in the day, no one ever doubted Liz and Dick loved each other — indeed, they were better as exes than as a couple. Bowler reminds us of that devotion.

The film itself dashes, TV-movie-ishly, from scene to scene with little room for development or transition. If the director, Lloyd Cramer, spent less time racing to cover ground and more tailoring Taylor from Lohan, it might be good. Instead, it feels like she’s back at square one.

One-and-a-half stars.

so what is she going to get 2 hours in county then out the door due to over crowding..this woman needs to feel the full brunt of the law before she ever changes and her phony talk show circuit where Leno and others give her a forum to lie to her public and fans is so ridiculous. Hey LL do you really think we believe a word that comes out of your mouth. You lie, your mom lies, you dad there anyone in the family that would know the truth if it slapped them in the face?

It is so sad that cannot afford an accurate legal consultant. This entire story lacks the requisite input of a CA prosecutor, if they had gotten that input, they would know that the outcome would be different.

Lindsay Lohan creamed over Liz Taylor portrayal: 'She sounds like a smoker from Long Island'

LOS ANGELES –  It has been widely touted as Lindsay Lohan’s acting comeback after years of personal problems, but the much-hyped Lifetime movie “Liz & Dick” is attracting more bad buzz than good, and it hasn’t even hit the boob tube.
“It’s just bad. Her voice – she sounds like herself, a smoker from Long Island and there is no chemistry with her co-star (Grant Bowler) and she was clearly not prepared,” a Lohan insider who previewed the movie, told FOX411’s Pop Tarts column. “There was no flair, no elegance.”
FFS!!! ^ "Lohan insider"??!! Priceless.

Prediction: She'll either go to court and (fake) cry in front of the judge claiming that everyone involved in the accident is out to get her, and then the judge will punish her harshly (not) by letting her sit in a jail cell for three hours and she'll be released early because of "overcrowding"

She'll try to worm her way out of going to jail completely by admitting that she has a problem and check herself into "rehab", where she'll vacation for a month while still going out at night partying and drinking.

Let see what happens.

Please, oh PLEASE let her FINALLY be sentenced to some REAL time.
6 Months would be good - which would translate to about 2-3 weeks in LA County lockup. That's a longer stretch than Lindsay's ever done. Maybe it will FINALLY wake her stupid a** up!
