Kate Middleton Hospital Prank

Nurse Who Killed Herself

History of Suicide

Jacintha Saldanha
-- the London nurse who killed herself after answering a prank call from two Aussie DJs -- reportedly had a HISTORY of failed suicide attempts.

Saldanha tried to take her own life TWICE in the last year alone, according to The Daily Mail ... first by ODing on pills last December, then again nine days later by attempting to jump off a building.

According to the report, Saldanha spent several days in an intensive care unit to recover, underwent psychiatric treatment and got scripts for a slew of antidepressants.

It changes the complexion of the now-infamous DJ prank involving a pregnant and hospitalized Kate Middleton. Being the straw that broke the camel's back is way different than what everyone first thought after the nurse hanged herself.

She wouldn't have died had they not played the joke, which wasn't funny to begin with. That's the bottom line.

This info doesn't change a thing. It was clear from the beginning that this woman had issues. The point here is that when you put on a prank on a global scale you risk hurting someone who may very well be unstable. It's a risk they should have taken into consideration. Any suicide expert will tell you that most people who commit suicide rarely do so on their first attempt. They will also tell you that there is rarely only ONE reason behind the act. And that the final act is usually the result of a trigger issue. A straw that broke the camel's back, if you will.
TMZ and their very young, naive staff are being way too simplistic here.
This news was expected and doesn't exonerate the DJ's in anyway.

I think the family should give the money back to the radio station. They took it knowing she has tried several times before. Seems like they just wanted money..easy payday

Knowing all this history. She was still allowed to work in a hospital around medication and a nurse for Kate. The hospital should be sued. Maybe they were not aware of her condition due to patient privacy or she was in another hospital then her family knew for sure. Instead of being ashame of a family member with issues people need to get continued help for them. And not wait til the hurt themselves or worse they kill another.

Isn't it obvious that the Queen had her murdered and they continue to make it look like a suicide.

I always stated this women was supper crazy, Did any-one catch that she was answering the phones vs nursing. The hospital was keeping this skank away from patients. This is what you get when an employer can't fire employees anymore unless they kill some-one or in this case kill them self's

Nice headline. How can someone have a history of suicide? Once it's suicide, you're done. Who's writing this stuff?

The only person to blame for her suicide is herself. If she had attempted this before, it was just a matter of time that she succeeded. Cannot believe how many people on here want to push the blame on the dj's, just because she was finally able to pull it off. Suicide is the ultimate act of selfishness. Why aren't any of you angry at her for what she put her family thru?? The blame game continues.....

ummm and your point is???
This doesn't change the anything. The dj's and the radio station are still just as responsible for what happened. This does not excuse there actions or the stupid excuses they have been giving to try and shift the blame from themselves back to unwilling victim in the stupid prank.
TMZ get over it and stop trying to defend these idiot dj's and the station management...

Oh well in that case that makes what those dimwits in Aus did was OK then.
What the hell is wrong with people that they are callous as to try to minimize what happened here?
