Sarah Palin

Out of a Straw

3/17/2013 5:50 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

0317_sarah_palin_gettySarah Palin attempted to mock the proposed ban on large sodas in New York City by sipping on a Big Gulp during her speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference yesterday.

For those of you outside of the Big Apple, Mayor Bloomberg is trying to implement a ban on soda cups bigger than 16 ounces ... in the interest of health.

The former VP hopeful took a dig at Bloomberg when she brought the large cup on stage and said, "Bloomberg’s not around. Our Big Gulp’s safe."

Seems no one told Palin that the 7-Eleven Big Gulp is NOT part of the proposed ban.

Maybe if she read a magazine or newspaper ...

She's not going to read the lamestream media where they use things like facts and rational analysis. If she decides 7-eleven was subject to the new law then it becomes true.

Really people you think she's "dumb" . Why? Because Saturday Night Live told you so? Stop being sheeple and wake up. If you actually listened to her speech you would realize she's incredibly intelligent. So shes against abortion boo ****ing hoo at least she actually wants to save the country.

Bloomberg deserves to be mocked, I dunno why everyone hates Palin so much, Nancy Pelsoi, Sheila Jackson Lee and the rest of the Democrat conga line of freaks are a million times more vile.

Went it comes to sucking, it pays to consult an expert. This is the woman who quit half way through her first term a governor. Too much hard work, not enough pay, and the state wouldn't accept her requests for per diem for the days she spent in her own home in Wasilla.

I love how leftist and under-informed TMZ articles tend to be. They get the scoops by chasing around the Hollywood elite but when it comes to something that takes a little more than "hey man how's your night going?" and crappy videos they fall flat.

Bloomberg's ban indeed DOES include 7-Eleven Big Gulps. Bloomberg didn't put in a "Big Gulp Exemption" to the law. Go look it up. Better yet, go get the complex chart to help you order your coffee and sodas. Stop living under a rock in California and actually check out what is going on in the rest of the country.

You might not like Palin - but the Big Gulp jab was pretty subtle and hilarious.

You are trying too hard to knock Palin down. Being huge liberals, you will never understand her appeal, so you must continue to try and destroy her. What really ticks you off is that the "girl" didn't go home crying to Todd and hide from you. She will continue to be in your face, because she is a strong woman with confidence in her beliefs. You may disagree with her, but that does not negate her point. I would think Liberals would be happy someone is protecting their "right to choose" their own soft drink size.

Funny. Love it. Most people in new York were against the soda ban. Who cares about politics. Good dig
