Jimmy Fallon

Jay Won't Jack My Job

Jimmy Fallon's pretty confident ... history won't repeat itself with Jay Leno angling to re-capture his "Tonight Show" gig.

We got Jimmy at LAX Friday night ... he has no fear of ending up on cable -- like Conan O'Brien.  Of course you remember when Jay was 86d the first time around ... he schemed for his job back and NBC obliged after having a serious cases of buyer's remorse.

Jimmy's show fires up after the Olympics ... and the big advantage he has over Conan ... Jay won't sink the ship at 10P.

Jay Leno is still No 1 on the rating. Jimmy Fallon is at his best a second candle to Jay Leno and Jimmy Fallon is just a shade above the old man Letterman in New York who is only playing with half a deck. If Jimmy Fallon wants to hold Jay Leno's rating he will have to up his game on standup because he sucks at it. Jay had the right mix for a late night standup and talk show.
I'm going to switch to Jimmy Kimmel he has a very good presentation on his standup.

Jay will be back. This guy is not funny. Every time I watch him, he comes off as kind of childish and and possibly gay. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

Jimmy was great on weekend update but his show is stupid. He comes across as a 16 year old fan boy in most of the interviews.

I don't think fallon is funny at all. Leno is a natural and still makes me laugh every time I watch.

Kimmel will be the new king of late night. I think he already is, now the ratings will follow.

Jimmy Fallon isn't that good (yet)at hosting or interviewing, but on the "stink-o-meter", no one could hold a candle to how bad Conan was. Conan was/is a talented comedy writer, but should never have been put in front of the camera. I've always thought, and still do, that when the dust clears, Jimmy Kimmel will be the King of Late Night TV for the next 20 years! He's hilarious and knows how to put a funny, entertaining show together.

Whatever

Please. Jimmy Fallon is the biggest star at NBC and will be huge. He isn't worried for one second about Jay because Jay is done.

Leno is old and tired. It is time for some fresh blood.

Jay Leno's the most remarkable and successful comedian of all-time.

Fallon would be wise to keep Jay in his corner -

On Jimmy's team.

Jay Leno's career has been awesome and inspiring.

You almost can't BELIEVE what Jay's accomplished.

On what essentially annoys and/or has annoyed Jay.

Rip-tides and under-tow should have pulled Jay out to Sea ...

...thousands of times.

Each occurrence here comes Jay.

Swimming back.

I think Jay is, but ...

If Jay's NOT the greatest comedian of all time.

He's certainly the STRONGEST.

Dozens of the -greatest-comedians of our time?

Have gone to the wise, gracious and great -

Sid Caesar.

With network-horrors, job, producer and studio problems.

Sid has quietly advised the-best-of-the-best.

Jay, down the road, will become Sid to the young ones.

"Don't do this, this or that ... do this..."

Sid's kept minimum 30 comics - afloat and outta trouble.

Jimmy Fallon will save himself a lot of grief.

By keeping Jay close.

If I were Jimmy I'd even have an "Ask Jay" segment.

About the silliest, most-trivial network stuff.

i.e. Jay's hilarious take and response to it.
