Al Sharpton

I'm Organizing a Boycott If the NBA Does Not

Suspend Donald Sterling TODAY

4/28/2014 5:49 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
EXCLUSIVE

042814_al_sharpton_launch Things are about to get real serious for the NBA ... Al Sharpton tells TMZ Sports he's planning on contacting the NBA's major advertisers to get them to pull their sponsorship if the league does not suspend Donald Sterling ASAP.

Sharpton spoke to our photog Sunday afternoon at LaGuardia Airport, where he called on the NBA to take immediate action against Sterling ... since the Clippers owner has not denied making the racist remarks published by TMZ Sports.

Sharpton used very pointed language, saying, "What is there to investigate? He should be suspended immediately. Let's quit stalling, let's quit copping out, NBA. Let him go."

The Rev was clear ... if something significant isn't done TODAY, he's going to start putting pressure on advertisers to pull their money.

The wallet ... always the best place to attack.

Your S&M Girlfriend

Good job Al, you assh0le. Let's all boycott and not put any money into the game. That way all of "your people" working their asses off on the bottom rung of the NBA food chain; the food handlers, ushers, ticket takers, janitorial staff etc. will lose their jobs because the bucks dried up. Sterling? He gets paid first. You are an assh0le.

So Mr. Sharpton, back to the threats, bullying and carrying on. You want to protest, fine. You want to boycott, fine. But don't go around trying to bully and intimidate the NBA front office with your demands. They are doing the proper thing buy conducting a formal investigation that's fair to all involved. But you just want them to chuck all that and hand down that suspension. Today. On your terms. Well, it doesn't work that way and it shouldn't, no matter how bad the evidence is. I know you would probably explode if an African-American front office employee was alleged to have done something seriously wrong and the Commish just decide to suspend with no investigation. You cannot tell me that's not true. Fair is fair, except you always expect special treatment.....

The NBA protects the owners, D. Steins never took any action against Sterling or any other owner. It is about making millions for the commissioners. They are run by the owners.

Really? When are you going to Chicago to deal with the 500+ a year murders among black people their? For those who do not know, there have been 3 times the number of deaths of our soldiers in Iraq & Afghanistan since the wars began...in Chicago among blacks...who've been murdered...mostly in gang related shootings and robberies...in a city/state with some of the strictest gun laws in the country.
