Corey Haim's mother told officials she flushed Corey's entire prescription drug stash down the toilet in the hours after his death because she didn't want them in the wrong hands -- and she didn't know cops would be investigating the scene, this according to a newly released autopsy report.
The L.A. County Coroner's Office just released new documents, Haim's mom stated that when she returned from the hospital, "she emptied the other bottles into the toilet because she didn't want anyone else to get hold of the medication and she didn't know the police would be responding to her residence."
According to the report, Haim's mom flushed 7 pills of the muscle relaxer carisoprodol after he died.
Haim's mom also told officials he may have used marijuana at some point in the last 2 days before his death.

TMZ has learned the L.A. County Coroner is about to release the report on Corey Haim's death ... and it was not caused by drugs ... it's listed as a natural death.
In lay terms, Corey had a bad heart and pneumonia. As for drugs, there were traces of several drugs but nothing severe enough to contribute to Haim's death.
As for the causes of death .... diffuse alveolar damage -- respiratory distress. In addition, the Coroner found hypertrophic cardiomyopathy -- the muscle in his heart thickened, making it hard for blood to flow.
And the Coroner also found a hardening of the arteries that supply blood to the heart.

The company that donated money to help pay for Corey Haim's funeral stopped payment on the check it sent the family ... claiming the money wasn't being used for Haim's funeral at all.
Startifacts, a celebrity memorabilia company that had been auctioning some of Haim's stuff, had donated $20,000 to cover funeral expenses.
But after a series of back and forth emails with Haim's brother-in-law, Mark Alexander, the company learned the funeral had already been paid for by the funeral home -- and its money was going to be used for Corey's mom's cancer treatments.
A rep for Judy Haim, Corey's mom, tells TMZ Judy's medical bills are completely covered and she has no idea why Alexander gave Starifacts the wrong idea. Haim says the funeral costs were indeed all covered by the funeral home's donations fund -- and she was raising money to reimburse them.
Either way, Startifacts feels burned by the whole ordeal and, as of now, has no intention of sending another check.

There will be no public memorial held for Corey Haim -- because according to Corey Feldman, it would be too difficult for Haim's mother to handle.

Feldman took to his blog to break the news, where he said Judy Haim is experiencing "tremendous grief and feels that to create an event celebrating Corey's life would be too much for her to bear at this time."
Instead, Feldman says they will hold a "very small private dinner with just a few close friends in LA."

Corey Haim went to seven different doctors and seven pharmacies to get 553 pills ... and that was just in a little more than the first two months of this year ... according to California Attorney General Jerry Brown.
Brown says several of the doctors were at urgent care centers. TMZ broke the story that Haim's mom had complained to several urgent care centers that they were fueling her son with prescription drugs.
Some of the drugs Haim scored were Xanax, Soma, Vicodin and Valium. According to Brown, five days before Corey died he obtained 149 tablets of Vicodin, 195 tablets of Valium, 15 tablets of Xanax and 195 tablets of Soma.
TMZ also broke the story that 20 doctors have received subpoenas for medical records in connection with the Haim investigation by the L.A. County Coroner. We're told some of the doctors never saw or wrote prescriptions for Haim -- leaving the possibility that Haim forged the prescriptions.
Haim's cause of death has not yet been determined.

Approximately 20 doctors received subpoenas yesterday in connection with the Corey Haim death investigation ... law enforcement tells TMZ.
The names of the doctors appear on various prescriptions written for Haim.
We've learned the doctors are from L.A., Orange and Ventura counties ... all in Southern California.
The L.A. County Coroner's Office served the subpoenas -- investigators want to review medical records to review treatment and prescriptions.
Law enforcement tells TMZ seven of the doctors say they never saw Corey Haim or prescribed medications for him. Investigators believe the prescriptions for the seven docs may be linked to the fraudulent prescription ring currently under investigation by the State Attorney General.
