Daniel Giersch (born May 24, 1974) is a German businessman and ex-husband of actress Kelly Rutherford. The couple has two kids together: Hermes and Helena. Giersch won a lawsuit against Google in 2007, claiming he had trademarked the term "gmail" for use by his business in Germany.
