He has since appeared in a number of films, mostly comedies, including Old School, Starsky & Hutch, Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, Couples Retreat, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, and Wedding Crashers. Vince Vaughn was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He was raised "both Protestant and Catholic" by his Catholic mother and Protestant father, and has English, Irish, German, Lebanese, and Italian ancestry.
