Ashlee Simpson is feeling better and has returned home following her recent collapse while performing in Japan.
Her publicist, Rob Shuter, confirmed to E! News that the "I Am Me" singer has returned to the United States to rest with her family.
She was hospitalized in Tokyo on Thursday after she collapsed in an elevator following a performance at MTV Japan. According to MTV, Ashlee abruptly left the stage while the band continued to play, then later returned, and apologized for having to pull the plug on the show.
The cause of her collapse was widely speculated to be exhaustion, though no official diagnosis was made public.
Simpson's scheduled performance at the Radio Music Awards in Las Vegas last night was canceled.
