Child Services Sent to Britney's House

TMZ has learned that the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) went to the Malibu home of Britney Spears on April 8, accompanied by a unit from the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff''s Department.

The Sheriffs Department tells TMZ that the DCFS made the common request that a unit accompany them to the house. The Sheriff's Department tells TMZ that they took no action and have no open investigation in the matter. DCFS did not respond to our request for comment.
