What "It Feels Like" to be LeAnn Rimes
While she's only 23 years old, the country star has had more ups and downs most musicians have in a lifetime. Rimes is at it again with her new single "And it Feels Like" from her latest CD "Whatever We Wanna" and hopes her fans are finally ready to see her as an adult.
"I was so much America's sweetheart and this really sweet little girl and people didn't want to see me grow up," says LeAnn, "I think that is the way with any child star and it is so hard to make that transition."
Since breaking out big at age 13 with hits like "Blue" and the crossover smash "How Do I Live," the Mississippi girl has sold 37 million records and has major world-wide recognition.
Despite her success, Rimes remains humble and says making music comes down to one thing, being happy. "One minute you mean everything to the world and then your success absolutely means nothing, you are just another page in the history books. That is when you go 'what the hell does famous mean??' It really doesn't mean anything at the end of the day, it's when you really have to enjoy what you are doing."
