Gregg Allman Ends Gig Early, Goes to Hospital Because of Back Pains
Gregg Allman had to cut a performance short last night and was taken to a local hospital because of back pain, TMZ has learned.
A rep for the legendary guitarist tells TMZ he has bulging discs in his back and suffered a flare up 30 minutes before the end of a show at the Beacon Theatre in NYC last night.
The rep says Allman went to a local hospital where he was treated and released.
The Allman Brothers Band is scheduled to play the Beacon again tonight.
Turns out Allman had to bail on the show tonight, citing another flare up just before showtime.
