Dean walked out of a PETCO in Los Angeles Saturday ... and according to the photog, he bought a tank and some new lizards.
McDermott recently admitted to cheating on his wife Tori Spelling, saying, "sex was an escape."
No such thing as weiner tanks ... just jars for balls. Right, Tori?
