Cam Newton's ankle is still on the road to recovery ... 'cause 7 weeks after the Carolina Panthers QB underwent surgery, he's still rollin' around in a walking boot.
The good news -- Cam was moving around pretty quickly at the airport in D.C. this morning ... and didn't seem bothered by the walking boot on his left foot.
FYI -- Cam went under the knife on March 18 to tighten up some ligaments after rolling his ankle in Week 10 last season.
Newton is expected to be ready to go when training camp kicks off in July.
