No BBQ or fireworks for alleged murderer Aaron Hernandez for the 4th of July ... instead, the former NFL star will dine on the finest pizza the Bristol County Jail has to offer ... TMZ Sports has learned.

If you've been watching "Orange Is the New Black," you know inmates like to celebrate the holidays too ... unfortunately for Aaron his Independence Day menu isn't as patriotic as he probably wanted.

Here's the July 4th menu at BCJ:

Breakfast: Cream of Wheat, muffin
Lunch: Pizza, rice, vegetables
Dinner: Meatloaf, mashed potatoes & gravy, vegetables, fruit

No sparklers, no fireworks, no party.
