Ex NFL Star Titus Young -- Misses Court Date in One Case ... Because He's in Jail for Something Else!
Titus Young Misses Court Date in One Case ... Because He's Still in Jail for Something Else!
There is a warrant out for the arrest of former NFL wide receiver Titus Young, and TMZ Sports has learned it shouldn't be hard for cops to find him … since he's already behind bars.
It's weird, but law enforcement sources tell us ... Young was arrested back in March for reckless driving, which, pardon the phrase, flew under the radar. Cops say the ex-Lions receiver was driving over 110 MPH in his Porsche and weaving in and out of traffic.
Young was arrested, charged with reckless driving (a misdemeanor) … and released.
But Young doubled down in July -- allegedly -- as TMZ Sports previously reported, he was arrested in Compton last month after getting into a fight with his lawyer. He's been in jail ever since because he has not posted the $130,000 bail.
But last week, the judge in his reckless driving case issued a bench warrant for Young's arrest … clearly unaware he's already behind bars.
If nothing else, cops should be able to nab Young on August 22 … when he's due in court for the felony assault case.
