Ryan Sheckler -- Drops $2.6 Million ... On Hometown Mansion

Ryan Sheckler is proving that you can come home again ... as long as you have a few million dollars to spend ... 'cause the skating legend just dropped $2.6 mil on a mansion in his hometown.

The 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath mansion is in San Clemente, CA -- where the X Games superstar grew up -- and features ocean views, a massive kitchen and an in-ground hot tub.

Sheckler bought the place back in June ... and we gotta say, it seems less like a crazy bachelor pad and more like a place a guy could put down some roots ... maybe with super hot girlfriend Mia Bonde?!!
