The wife of Yoel Rodriguez Naranjo -- one of the 5 victims who died when an Amazon cargo plane crashed into his van at Miami International Airport -- is suing over her husband's death.

Yaraisi Santiso Morejon filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Amazon, Amazon Air Cargo and 21 Air ... as well as the plane's pilots, Joseph Carroll and Jaime Felipe Silva Molina ... according to the filing obtained by NBC News.

In the suit -- which seeks damages in excess of $50,00 -- she claims the crash was a "foreseeable and preventable result of multiple, concurrent failures."

One of the two pilots involved in Sunday's deadly Amazon cargo plane crash reportedly said his career was over just moments after the disaster that killed 5 people.

The National Transportation Safety Board identified the two pilots of the cargo jet as Felipe Silva Molina and Joseph Carroll, both of whom escaped the crash with just minor injuries.

As you know, the plane -- traveling from San Juan, Puerto Rico to Florida -- overshot the runway at Miami International Airport, plowing into vehicles on a roadway nearby. Five people were killed, and five others were injured.

The Amazon cargo plane that crashed at Miami International Airport barreled about 1,300 feet past the runway, smashing into multiple vehicles and fences before finally stopping ... federal investigators said Monday.

NTSB Chair Jennifer Homendy said the plane first hit a Ford Econoline van carrying 7 airport cleaning workers after overrunning the runway. The jet then tore through a perimeter fence, hit a Toyota Corolla Cross driving on a nearby street and continued before slamming into another fence.

AFTER THE IMPACT

The Amazon cargo plane crash at Miami International Airport is now a fatal accident ... with officials confirming at least one person was killed Sunday, according to dispatch audio obtained by TMZ.

The death marks a grim turn in the crash, which sent an Amazon Air Boeing 767 off the runway and into a roadway near the airport.

Authorities have not yet identified who died or the full toll from the crash ... though the dispatch audio indicates a deceased patient was found beneath the plane’s right wing.
