Pharrell Williams says he'd be extremely grateful if Clipse's comeback album, "Let God Sort Em Out," won a Grammy -- unlike that ingrate Kanye West, who pissed on his award!!!

In a new interview with Billboard, Pharrell gushed over the acclaimed project that he, Pusha T and Malice pieced together in July, while aspiring for the VA-bred collective to take the center stage at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards next year.

And like Pusha T did during the album's rollout, Pharrell couldn't resist taking a swipe at Ye all the same.

The Clipse recently sat down for Jon Caramanica and Joe Coscarelli's "Popcast," where they discussed the fallout between Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo ... a ho-hum ending after the duo delivered countless hits throughout the music industry.

Pusha T and Malice announced their comeback Clipse album "Let God Sort 'Em Out" would drop on Def Jam last year ... but touting a Kendrick Lamar feature amid the Drake/UMG lawsuit proved to be a bit too much for the label to handle!!!

In a new interview with GQ, Pusha was noted to be "disgusted" with Def Jam's refusal to release the album containing the Kendrick track, “Chains & Whips" ... which forced the dissolution of the Clipse deal and Pusha's own solo contract with Def Jam.

Pusha argued Kendrick's verse doesn't have any direct or subliminal shots at Drake -- nor does it reference his own testy history with the OVO rapper -- and he called Def Jam's apprehension of the matter "stupid."
