'American Idol,' President Bush and the war on terror all get skewered in the new comedy 'American Dreamz.' Two of the film's stars, Mandy Moore and Dennis Quaid, hit the red carpet for the premiere in Los Angeles.

Carmen Electra, with rocker hubby Dave Navarro in tow, was out and about in the Big Apple Monday night.

Citing Felicity Huffman's recent success in 'Transamerica' as an inspiration, Eva Longoria says she wants to be able to do both TV and film. Eva got her chance, via a personal invite from Michael Douglas, in the new thriller, 'The Sentinel.'

Longoria says she enjoyed offsetting the estrogen-dominated 'Desperate Housewives' with the testosterone-filled set of 'The Sentinel.'

(April 7, 12:35PM ET) -- A High Court judge in London cleared the way Friday for audiences to see 'The Da Vinci Code' blockbuster film starring Tom Hanks this summer.

Mr. Justice Peter Smith ruled that the book's author Dan Brown did not breach the copyright of earlier books in compiling his mythical blockbuster which claims that Jesus married and had children with Mary Magdelene.

(April 5) -- Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa declared April 4th "'Crash' Film Day in L.A," paying tribute to the Oscar-winning Best Picture, which is set in Los Angeles and was filmed entirely in the city.

'Crash' follows a multiethnic ensemble over an explosive 36-hour period in Los Angeles, delving into issues of racism and police corruption. The ceremony coincided with the DVD release of the director's cut.

The movie's called 'The Benchwarmers' but only All-Stars were on the red carpet at its premiere Sunday night. Adam Sandler, David Spade, Rob Schneider and 'Napoleon Dynamite' star Jon Heder were in the line-up for the baseball film's debut, and TMZ caught all the action.

The movie stars Jon Lovitz as a rich eccentric who fields a team of adults - in age, at least - against squads of Little Leaguers in a baseball tournament. It hits screens nationwide this Friday.
