Spencer Pratt's Mayoral Campaign

Spencer Pratt is Karen Bass’ biggest threat in the race for Los Angeles mayor ... at least according to the Bass campaign’s own internal pollster.

An email sent Thursday by Bass campaign advisor Douglas Herman to “Interested Parties” -- including endorsers and supporters -- states that the campaign’s internal pollster, Binder Research, currently shows Pratt in position to make the November runoff.

The letter -- obtained by TMZ -- also takes direct aim at Nithya Raman, the L.A. City Councilmember and progressive who entered the race late and is widely viewed as a key challenger.

Spencer Pratt might have a ton of supporters backing his Los Angeles mayoral run ... but, his sister Stephanie isn't one of them -- because she's warning people not to elect him!

Stephanie took to social media Saturday to bash her bro's political ambitions ... admitting he's done great work for the Pacific Palisades community -- but he can't be responisible for 4 million citizens.

Spencer's only running to boost sales of his memoir "The Guy You Loved to Hate: Confessions from a Reality TV Villain," Stephanie claims ... and, she tells people to just wait and see what he does with their tax dollars if elected.

Spencer Pratt officially entered the 2026 race for mayor of Los Angeles this week ... and he says winning will be easy, because he says Mayor Karen Bass is probably going to jail!

Watch the video ... TMZ caught up with Spencer at a campaign event Wednesday, where he followed in the footsteps of another famous reality star who ran for office.

Spencer gave his opponent a pejorative nickname, "Karen Basura" -- that's Spanish for "trash" -- and predicted her arrest. Sound like anybody else you know? This man basically took Donald Trump's whole flow! Watch the second clip ... Spencer also delivered his plans for the city last night.

People have had a lot to say about Spencer Pratt running for mayor of Los Angeles ... but he told us he has literally nothing to lose!

We caught up with the reality TV star outside of CBS Studios in NYC Monday, as he continues his press tour to promote his book, "The Guy You Loved to Hate: Confessions from a Reality TV Villain." When asked if he's nervous about running for office, he gave a facetious response, saying, "What, are they gonna burn my house down again?"

Gotta say ... that's one of the best barbs a politician has come up with in a long time.

The son of Caitlyn Jenner took to social media to defend his pal after Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass' office ridiculed his mayoral candidacy announcement ... calling it a little more than a publicity stunt to sell his new book.

Brody's telling people not to underestimate Spencer ... pointing out the guy has a degree in political science from USC -- but he chose to stick with reality TV because he recognized a great opportunity.

"It's no shock that in advance of his imminent book release, a reality TV 'villain' who once staged a fake divorce to boost ratings and spent the last summer spewing post-fire misinformation and disinformation to pump up his social media following, would now announce he's running for Mayor."

The reality star made the announcement Wednesday in front of a cheering crowd, saying, "This is not just a campaign. This is a mission. And we are going to expose the system!"
