Paris Gives Up a Benjamin

Paris Hilton may be many things, but she sure isn't stingy, especially when she's coming out of a McDonalds drive-thru and a pan-handler asks her for money.

"You Paris Hilton! Can I get a hundred dollars?" was the exact quote.

Before Paris could answer, then man came down quite a bit, asking "how 'bout a dollar?" But Paris heard the first request and reached beside her and handed the man a crumpled $100 bill.

She then posed with him and remained polite, even when he asked about "Lionel Richie's daughter", a reference to Paris' drama-filled relationship with Nicole Richie. The dude must be reading TMZ.

Later he offered to wash Paris' car, but she has people to do that. She spent less than $10 on her own lunch, but that guy can now afford a sushi feast at Koi. If he can get a table, that is.

4. Hey, come on, people. I don't like Paris one bit, but I think it's cool she did that. Press, schmess -- when the popozao is constantly following her, then it seems like she does everything to get more press, duh! What if she HADN'T given the guy any money? Then you'd all be saying what a crappy person she is. But she's a crappy person for giving him the money, too?

I don't like her either, but she did the right thing for once. I doubt she cares much about the press from it. It's not like a day goes by when she's not in the media for something, anyway.

6. i have to say, my opinion of PH just went up....now if she'd just get rid of greasy bear as a friend....lol. Paris you just made that guy's millenium. that was very cool.
and she came across as so nice.........go figure :-)

7. Even though I am not a fan of Paris Hilton, it was a kind thing to do especially when you have zillions of dollars at your disposal. Good for her , but I agree with Cary, he will probably buy booze instead of a good meal and a bath.

9. Hopefully her heart WAS in the right place and she was not just giving the homeless man money because the press was there...

Still, I want to give her the benefit of the doubt and send a positive comment her way, for a change. She has done plenty to deserve the negative comments, so let's acknowledge it when she actually does something unselfish and unslutty.

14. Will this girl stop at noithing to get press? Now she's using homeless people?? Lots of celebs donate hundreds of thousands of dollars to charitys and don't race out looking for a camera to prove it to the whole world. Paris is once again proving herself to be a huge nitwit.
