Continuing their tradition of stories "ripped from the headlines," NBC's "Law & Order" will air an episode in November featuring Chevy Chase as "a television celebrity who is pulled over for drunk driving while wearing blood-soaked clothes, and whose religious prejudice comes out after his arrest."
That doesn't sound familiar at all.
Chase is best known for his work on "Saturday Night Live" and films such as "Foul Play," "Caddy Shack," "National Lampoon's Vacation" and its three sequels, "Fletch" and "The Three Amigos."
Oh, wait a minute -- that's like the Mel Gibson thing! We get it now.
