What that man should have done was nothing. If you don't like Hilary Duff's music or movies then move on. Don't be going to extremes to threaten to kill her. It's just complete stupidity on his part. All that stalking is a common example of people's overobsession with celebrities. I commend those officials for arresting his sorry ass!!!!!

I really feel sorry for these young starlets. They have to go through so much stuff like this.

Hey, Everyone! Ya’ll who already posted on this before me… Those stalkers are lunatic! Put them in the lunatic, insane state hospital like the one who did to Jodie Foster long ages ago! That guy who tried to stalk and kill Hilary Duff and her bf, Joel Madden, should be deported back where he came from, Russia. What heck he came to US and stalked the celebrities for? Tell him to get f____ing out of our country and deport back to Russia and then, notify the KGB to put him the rotten jail so he would never come out from the prison for good. Sheesh! Leave the celebrities ALONE! By the way, that guy looked not too handsome for Hilary Duff. ACK! point finger in my mouth and puke at him!

It is good that they arrested him. Good that no one was hurt, including the suspect. He's only 18 after all. I hope it is not true that he cannot be rehabilitated - hopefully he can be helped. There is so much fear and anger in our society, and so little forgiveness...

This kind of CRAP is just one of the reasons I would NEVER live in any state that does not permit law abiding citizens the right of licensed concealed carry.
The police and courts do absolutely NOTHING in the cases until the victim has already been hurt or murdered !!
Call me a redneck, a gun nut, paranoid, whatever your insult of the day is. That's fine!! Whatever I am, at least I'd be a live one !!
She should get proper training, be armed and ready for a**holes like that . Body guards can't be there every second of your entire life !!
And... To all the MORONS saying mean insulting things about Ms. Duff, Shut the hell up and act like an adult for once in your pathetic, jealous lives !! Use your heads for something other than growing hair on !!

It is a good thing he is behind bars-i have been stalked before by another guy and it can get out of hand very fast-these creeps think that you are theirs even if you have never dated-when they threaten and follow you everywhere it is even more disturbing-hillary does need to change her style as it does attract the "gentlemen" crowd-I am not talking about decent guys-more perverts that go to clubs that degrade women-if you don't want flies don't be in the garbage-because they will come

This page has 100 links to Immigration Reform websites

the idea that there are "jobs Americans won't
do" is a myth put out by businesses that want an
endless supply of cheap labor, and the press
uncritically repeats the lie. The fact is when wages
become depressed by an immigrant-flooded labor pool,
Americans can no longer survive on the shrunken
incomes. Immigration functions as a subsidy to
business, because industry gets cheap labor and the
taxpayers must pay the collateral costs.

As the economy struggles, we wonder why open borders,
talk of amnesty and H-1b high-tech employment visas
remain. If it was ever true that America needed extra
workers during the boom of the late 1990s, it
certainly does not now. A news story in early November
2002 in the San Francisco Chronicle observed how many
high-tech workers were applying for seasonal retail
jobs. A week later, the same paper questioned the
accuracy of unemployment figures, in particular noting
that employment in the Silicon Valley was officially
7.9 percent while the office vacancy rate in San Jose
was 23 percent — an unlikely pair of figures, to say
the least.

In the early 1990s, proponents of NAFTA and other
globalization schemes said that it was no problem to
lose all of America's manufacturing industries to
cheap-wage countries, because American workers would
all be retrained to do the new high-tech jobs. Now
those jobs are increasingly being sent overseas
—"outsourcing" is the new euphemism. In fact, a Boston
Globe story (12/25/02) noted that "employers will move
about 3.3 million white-collar service jobs and $136
billion in wages overseas in the next 15 years."
Furthermore, H-1b workers willing to work for less in
order to get a green card are still being hired to
replace American workers, despite that practice being
theoretically illegal. In some cases, Americans are
required to train their replacements or lose out on
severance packages. Hundreds of thousands of American
technology workers are unemployed, yet the H-1B visa
plan is still active. Another visa category which even
Business Week called "A Mainframe-Sized Visa Loophole"
is the L-1, designed for intracompany transfers by
multinational corporations.
