It's clear Tom Cruise hasn't been spending enough quality time with David Beckham.
Just hours before Tom and Katie Holmes threw their over-the-top coming out party in Beverly Hills this weekend, the well-fed newlyweds were kicking it up at soccer again, along with their parents, to support Tom's daughter Isabella. After the game, the plumping action star got a low-impact workout by kicking the ball around with his family in front of the crowd. 
That evening, the couple headed over to the site of a $400,000 post-nuptial bash, where powerful showbiz players celebrated the TomKat agreements.
Over 300 guests, including Steven Spielberg, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, Cuba Gooding Jr., and Tom's former pharmaceutical foe Brooke Shields, who all braved a downpour to pay homage. The soggy twosome's honeymoon was also rained out.
Oprah and John Travolta were nowhere to be seen.

Lee -- I can guarantee you that most of us don't believe they're "happy". If they were, they woudn't grand-stand for the media constantly. They beg for attention -- probably the only celebs that want, no, beg, for attention from the press. They're gross.
Tom went 'casting' for a wife, katie was his fifth choice, then the rest is media-hype history. EVERTYTHING Tom does is calculated. And PHONY!
I'm into frogology! or Bunnyology! As long as it doesn't require that our bodies are invaded by the spirits of other cartoon characters. I'd hate to have to go thru a cleansing to remove the Roadrunner or Elmer Fudd from our bodies.

Here's what annoys me: These two are so desperate to portray themselves as something they're not, and will never be: Normal people.
TC is desperately trying to regain his dignity after he hopped on several couches like a deranged luntic, all in the name of professing his love for Katie. Why couldn't he just state the fact like any other smitten fellow? Was he afraid he wouldn't be believed? Or better yet, keep the relationship private like so many other HELLywood stars do, in the interest of keeping their 'love' from being exploited and judged? Whomever said that he was trying to convince the public of something, I believe, has his the nail right on the head. It's all too weird, this whole thing, and I believe they have a business arrangement, whatever it might be, but I'll tell you one thing, Tom couldn't convince me that the sun rises in the East. And he sure as hell can't convince me that he just loves Katie so much...
And just for the record, I don't believe Katie conceived, carried, or gave birth to a child, his, or anyone elses. I believe that kid was adopted, and whatever birth documents are out there in cyberspace are contrived and 'leaked' to the public to try to convince the public of this kid's 'authenticity.' Crap, I say.
And what annoys me even more is that if I happen to see my mother looking through her People magazine, and I make a comment about them (anything negative) she pooh-poohs me, like I'm some suspicious paranoid nutcase that thinks the whole world is a conspiracy! Tom & Katie, you've even fooled my mother, a very rational, intelligent, and fiercely Catholic woman... shame on you!! "Oh, stop," she says to me... Tom has tits. Tom knows how to use the press to his advantage. He shows up at these games to look like a loving dad and husband to poor brainwashed Katie.
