91. While drinking and driving is definitely wrong, it seems that TMZ (only read it through AOL) and other filth mags have nothing better to report. Ordinary people get DUIs all the time. We don't read about it in the news. They get their consequences and move on.

People make mistakes. It just happens that whenever a famous person does it, there's a flashbulb right in their face.

It would really stink if normal people were treated like celebs. I don't care if you do the "boo hoo poor baby thing," but it seriously would suck if Average Joe had every time he got drunk, every time he dated somebody and every time he got pulled over in some magazine or newspaper.

Yeah, he made a really dumb mistake. Let him face the consequences like any Average Joe; this includes giving him the privacy he needs to work through his issues.

I really wish AOL would stop running TMZ's articles and people would simply stop reading this garbage. If tabloids stopped making money on this crap, maybe people will be able to maintain some amount of normalcy in their lives.

92. Hmmm, which would have been cheaper? paying $5,000 to get out of jail or paying for a cab to drive ya?

93. Doesn't Ty also do Sears commercials? And Bayer commercials too? Boy, he'll be needing some Bayer now!!!!

94. It does not matter how rich or poor a person is. Anyone can make a bad choice. Ty, your not alone. Learn from this and then go on with your life. For all the stupid mistakes we ALL make, you at least are making a difference in some peoples lives. Be thankful because it could have been a lot worse.God bless you Ty.

95. Another one bites the dust...these "stars" don't shine in my eyes!

96. My my my, aren't you all know it alls. The article said on suspicion of being under the influence of alcohol and drugs while driving. Last time I checked suspicion is not an implication of wrong doing.

Do any of you know Ty? Where any of you with him that night? I certainly doubt it. Do any of you know any of the circumstances other than what the media hounds/whores want you to know. Mind you own life and business.

97. By tomorrow we'll probably be hearing that he checked himself into rehab, that seems to be step 2 after these stars are caught. Remember Mel Gibson he was just one of many.

Maybe they should be trying a 12 step program with AA.
Not 2nd step rehab, 3rd step come out and try to redeem themselves in the public eye, 4th step stay out of the lime light for awhile, 5th step resume their lives including drinking and driving.
Ty probably can't wait for the next star to get in trouble so that the public will move on and forget about him.
Believe me I've done my share many years ago but then I'm not on National TV trying to make everyone think I'm Mother Teresa.

Actions speak louder than words and it's obvious that the Extreme Makeover show and the tears he sheds is no more than any other reality show that's out there, it's all an act.

98. Lori,
You're right he will need a whole lot of Bayer and maybe Sears will give him a Lawn Mower since he'll be losing his license for awhile.

But then license suspension didn't seem to stop Paris so my advise to Ty would be hire a Limo or just party at your house, I'm sure with your money and skills you could build yourself your own bar in your backyard.

By the way does anyone know what drugs all I read was under the influence of alcohol and drugs.

99. I agree #12 Ty should be fired. And # 15, yeah...lock em up with that idiot Paris, they would make a great couple...dead beats. It's a shame they throw away their money like that. Why not give it to charity? ME? LMAO!!!

100. Just putting my 2 cents worth in......
After incarceration, suspension, and ONE year of having an interlock device mandatory in my car (@ $175./mo.....I still drink. BUT..not if I know I'm going to drive later. If you are a star, or MEGA star, you would think that they could afford a few things:

1. A driver
2. Money for a taxi
3. FREAKING COMMON SENCE

Gimme a break! Sad but pityless!! I guess the saying is in fact true....Common sence is NOT so common.

101.
Oh for craps sake...are ALL of you people who post on this board PERFECT?????

Not one of you ever take a sip of alcohol?

If you say no- you are a liar!

102. Another rich drunk! Why didn't this "closet case QUEEN" have his "boyfriend" drive instead. Seems like he has a lot of talent, but no brains, to drink and drive. Put him in a cell, like Paris Hilton, that slut got what she deserves. Maybe a few nights with Big Daddy, as his cell mate may be good for him (we know he will enjoy it) ...

103. extreme makeover should be on abc family channel

104. GOD!!! It blows me away how many of you think that a lot of us get drunk and get behind the wheel. Its not the cause. Maybe in your circle of friends you, on occasion think a few drinks and a drive is an ok thing, and I guess no harm no foul. But until you have one of these "social drinkers" kill or disfigure a loved one then its ok. Everyone in your mind does it right!? And as fare as dont pick on Ty because he's a good guy and hes only being pick on because he's famous. Well if you or I got pulled over we'd spent at least a night in jail while we decide what we will do with out in order to cover the 5k bail. So shut up and take a cab!!!

Posted at 5:46PM on May 7th 2007 by Oschnap

105. its amazing, how much trouble does it take to call a cab, don't they know how much it cost, for an attorney, court cost, fines, insurance rates, now a criminal record, all for the price of a cab ride home. You made your bed, now sleep in it. Morons with money. go figure.
