92. I don't understand why these stars with all this money......knowing they are going to be drinking, don't pay for someone else to drive them. Pretty sad!

93. Goes to show police are doing their job and no-one is above the law.

Hopefully he's not using any sears Power Tools while under the influence.

He's made apologies to ABC and his design team what about Sears who he's a sponsor for, maybe he was still high and forgot them.

Maybe he should resort to driving a lawn mower instead of a car.

94. All you Americans have to stop putting these stars on petistools. You worship them like they were Gods holding on to every word as gospal truth and are shocked when they fall short . Wake up people this is part of the human condition. Sin.... Put your faith in the one who will never let you down. He is the same yesterday today and tomorrow. Let this be another lesson to all of you that worship the stars , they will all eventually fall out of the sky.. For all the believers out there you know what I mean..

95. We can only hope TY learns from his mistake and gets the help he needs. Just because regular peoples names don't make the tv news, doesn't mean they don't make the local papers, and yes, some do lose their jobs, ex: school bus drivers, cops, ETM workers. Making the local paper is embrassing to the whole family. I'm no saint but I do have 25 years of soberity under my belt, but only today counts. Rehab or 45 days in county jail won't help unless these celebs work the program, and records show they can't/don't. Ty will need more than 7 days to fix his problem, I hope he takes the right steps before he does injury/maim/ or kills someone or some family. Getting drunk and driving wasn't a bold move Ford Motors would be proud of him making, maybe they will pull their contract with the show

97. I am so not surprised! This guy is such a dork, what about him do woman find so attractive? Personally, I think he is too darn weird, and I do not see why his so called "carpentry" skills are featured on tv and in his own line of furniture and junk.

98. we have to remember that before they were famous they were ordinary people. unfortunately sometimes fame brings out the worst in people....or at least the dumbest.

100. While drinking and driving is definitely wrong, it seems that TMZ (only read it through AOL) and other filth mags have nothing better to report. Ordinary people get DUIs all the time. We don't read about it in the news. They get their consequences and move on.

People make mistakes. It just happens that whenever a famous person does it, there's a flashbulb right in their face.

It would really stink if normal people were treated like celebs. I don't care if you do the "boo hoo poor baby thing," but it seriously would suck if Average Joe had every time he got drunk, every time he dated somebody and every time he got pulled over in some magazine or newspaper.

Yeah, he made a really dumb mistake. Let him face the consequences like any Average Joe; this includes giving him the privacy he needs to work through his issues.

I really wish AOL would stop running TMZ's articles and people would simply stop reading this garbage. If tabloids stopped making money on this crap, maybe people will be able to maintain some amount of normalcy in their lives.

101. Hmmm, which would have been cheaper? paying $5,000 to get out of jail or paying for a cab to drive ya?

102. It does not matter how rich or poor a person is. Anyone can make a bad choice. Ty, your not alone. Learn from this and then go on with your life. For all the stupid mistakes we ALL make, you at least are making a difference in some peoples lives. Be thankful because it could have been a lot worse.God bless you Ty.

103. Another one bites the dust...these "stars" don't shine in my eyes!

104. Shame on you Ty! I have seen makeover shows that you have done for families who have been affected by someone drinking and driving. I think you should get some community service out of this and donate a home OUT OF YOUR POCKET to a family or mother, father or children who have been left without their loved ones because some idiot got behind the wheel of a car after drinking.

105. My my my, aren't you all know it alls. The article said on suspicion of being under the influence of alcohol and drugs while driving. Last time I checked suspicion is not an implication of wrong doing.

Do any of you know Ty? Where any of you with him that night? I certainly doubt it. Do any of you know any of the circumstances other than what the media hounds/whores want you to know. Mind you own life and business.
